Emergency exit row is our friend. Definitely worth the extra $10/$20 I missed out on the way back from YMML and saw some tiny woman sitting it in and had a grumble in my head.

I still wish there was teal in there somewhere, but this is a huge improvement on that terrible interim livery. What were they thinking? /ohmy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :o border= 0 alt= ohmy.gif /> This is really striking and I like the black version even more. /clapping.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= clapping.gif /> Bring on the repaints! /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />

Hi there, Ask the flight attendant when checking in at the Chathams for the return flight back to NZ. If there is no training going on or crew occupying the jumpseat most of the crew are generally happy to show off the old girls. Especially if there is a large load of fish on in the back we sometimes need an extra bum further forward to keep the CofG in the right place. If you're coming to the Chathams, stay a few days and also go to Pitt Island on the Cessna 206.

QUOTE (Charl @ Sep 16 2013,9:18 AM) I suppose the lighter planes would have a tougher time of big winds... Wonder what the WORST plane would be to have, landing in those conditions? In my (actual) experience a Grumman AA5 taking off RWY34 wind straight down the runway @ 15 gusting 20, cloud 8 octa's at about 2000' . At 200' a 60-70Knot gust Pole hard forward, trim max nose down, 1000rpm and ROC hard on the right limiter and not to say a queasy feeling in u'pants. Fortunately it backed off after about 15 secs. Speaking to the tower afterwards I mentioned that for a...

Air Wanganui use Medicare 01 for the C90 and Medicare 02 for the PA31P when doing medical transfers, and the aircraft regos (MKG or WTH respectively) for any other charter work.
