QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Oct 29 2012,8:12 PM) Next time , maybe another type .. maybe a Mosquito /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Hehe, well Ian, I bet the maintenance engineers have pulled you out of a few warbirds during maintenance. Instead of finding birds in the cowling or engine air intakes they find you. Gotta love those old birds, in years to come it will be harder and harder to find them flying around i'm sure.

QUOTE (benwynn @ Sep 3 2012,2:49 PM) Might be pretty expensive postage from brissy though.. Most of the formation would still be relevant for learning and cheaper than a new copy and packaging across the Tasman would be reasonable .

Nice to catch up, always a great venue, Wanaka, and I hope they keep it up. Message to all you Airshow Organisers reading this: How about you keep those kerosene burners in a separate corner, far far away, when the radials are flying by? They can come out later and play. Year after year I have a brilliant Pratt soundtrack interrupted by the screech of a taxiing jet. The sound is half the story gentlemen...
