QUOTE (SeanTK @ Aug 23 2011,7:42 AM) Looks good! Are they going to put any logos on it identifying it as a medical helicopter in the future? Would be nice to see a NZ medical chopper without dozens of ads splashed all over, but maybe a couple identifying it as a rescue vehicle would be a smart idea? The Adds keep it in the air. The organisation I work for is right at the end of the rescue we chucked $500k at it not solong ago. . Go the yellow and black.

This is about to get interesting depending on who the 'buyer' is....... With Wings Flight Training also having a 'buyer' and all....... Also QUOTE Bay Flight, which was established by Phil Hooker in 1996, became the only training centre in Tauranga after Euro Flight International closed and Air Discovery retrenched back to Auckland early last year. Im sure this comment would somewhat annoy those at Tauranga Aero Club / SunAir

Well something has to give in order to maintain the unrealistically low airfares.....and it will get much worse.

Sometimes over the festive season the 747 does the odd special trip to island destinations (usually Apia).

Looks pretty flash in the photo. There's a documentary called "Smiling in a War Zone" about a Danish couple who read about an Afghani girl who dreams of being a fighter pilot. They buy an old Piper Colt and fly to Kabul (battling red tape all the way) to meet her and give her the opportunity to fly.

Good luck to him /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> He also is/was a C337 owner around 10 years ago... On another note, that Part 115 regulation is causing some serious headaches for the gliding community. It's been fought long and hard to have them exempted, but so far it hasn't happened. Quote from a GNZ member at CAA meeting in early November: "I attended one of the most poorly organised seminar's of the year. No lunch, no parking, no audio system, not enough hand-outs, little chance for questions etc etc. Ever wondered what...

QUOTE (Adamski @ Dec 2 2011,10:19 PM) Quite unbelievable - that so many hundreds of man-hours go into sprucing a plane like this up, then it's taken outside to rot!!! Looks beautiful ... but so sad ... a bit like a caged bird /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> Congratulations to all that put in so much care - and to the crane driver that didn't drop the thing! They must all be so pleased/relieved!!! Great pics, too - wot, no clouds? /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif...
