QUOTE (huff3r @ Jun 6 2011,11:03 AM) That 727 isn't exactly in one peice either. The number 2 engine and most of the tail has been chopped off. It's in a sad state really, the inside has many panels pulled out as well. So the AirMech students can study its systems. (If thats the one at Woodbourne, which used to sit between hangars 4 and 5). I'm well aware of that. I helped take the tail off. It was the only way we could get the aircraft in the hangar and having it in the hangar was the only way to justify getting the 727. Despite whats happened at least we still have the...

QUOTE (andrewb @ Jun 4 2011,5:26 PM) Some great shots of the mighty Dash 8! Had to look closely in the last shot, thought they'd made a mistake in the caption. /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> Obviously an old shot as N57LE hasn't been in NZ for quite sometime since it was replaced with Global N18WZ.

QUOTE (ZK-KAG @ May 31 2011,9:43 PM) I can think of more appropriate places to be doing spinning on a non display flight... Point Taken, but ya gotta look at the fact that airspace was cleared FOR a display, now the instructor with me, is also a pilot for one of the aircraft performing a display, so he thought hed get up before the display, plus this is just before we recover, not the start /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> QUOTE (chopper_nut @ Jun 1 2011,9:10 AM) Too true, trouble is that in a 152 it would take you 3 hours...

QUOTE (LukeEYF @ May 27 2011,7:51 AM) Not really. The bags were donated to Christchurch International Airport to test the new baggage system at the new terminal. The bags were not really in condition to give to charity(Most likely were bags with holes) Well - I certainly jumped to conclusions on that one!! I even thought the bags were full of stuff!

Budgets are usually introduced pre election for voters to decide. If Key is re-elected, I have no doubts about it going ahead.

QUOTE (Fozzer @ Apr 15 2011,11:41 PM) To my mind...the obvious sad bit....>>> Quote: "Fatalities: Fatalities: / Occupants:" End Quote. Aeroplanes can be rebuilt... ...corpses cant! Paul. Lol - I know for a fact Greg Bayliss is alive. He flies for Central South Island Helicopters and was their Cresco pilot at Twizel - he's now converting to helos. Hes the guy I modelled in my Cresco ZK-PKB! I think you will find that the article you are looking at is missing lots of data as Naki said there are no numbers against the fatalities/occupants field. If you...
