Are they bringing the RNZAF Boeing 757 to the show? I saw it flying in, with a huge crosswind (which is amazing considering it was dead still on the ground) crabbing into NZCH last night.

They sidled it up to gate 23 (I think). Funny thing is gate 23/24 are the same gate but using 23 (which was designed for 777 size) they can still use 21 and 25 which they can't if they used 22 cause that would take out 21 and 23/24...

Well I hope it comes back, greatest sport it is. One of the last sports that still needs a decent pair of nuts as well. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif />

bennz, I'm staying in Melbourne (doing the tourist thing) and catching the train from Southern Cross station to Lara (shuttle bus to Avalon airport). V/Line have a dedicated page for the airshow which is how I booked my train tickets, just need to pick them up when I arrive:

amazing how its so hard to get accurate info about whether its a plane or a helo. Lots of conflicting info across the media as to which !!

I'm hoping to make it to Omaka this year too - a group of us from AAC will be taking a couple of 172s down, just got to hope the weather is suitable. I've been to Wanaka a couple of times but it will be my first time attending the Omaka airshow.
