I have sent a couple of private messages, but I'm not sure if they made it....that whole thing seems a little strange at the moment.

Meal times for me, every day: Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, and Supper, in that order...just like my dear old Mum always did! When I get out of bed every morning, the uppermost thing on my mind is what I will prepare and cook for myself... a lovely tasty meal! Cornflakes for Breakfast, quickly followed by Mid-day Dinner preparation at 10 AM. All the necessary utensils; knives, forks, spoons, scraper/peelers, etc laid all around my chopping board on my kitchen worktop. Pots and pans filled with water are placed on m trusty Gar Stove. All fresh vegetables are gathered from my fridge, dismantled on my...

I'd love to build another plane but I have no financial wherewithal to do it! The last one (Van's RV-8 fastback) I didn't get to finish due to marital separation. I had pretty much the entire airframe built, and was about to start instruments, avionics and engine. Regret that I didn't get to finish, but life can sometimes throw you curve balls, and it was my decision to split after all. Ah well. Lost dreams just a part of growth.

It's wonderful living on our own!.... ....! The peace, quiet, tranquillity and total joy, are almost overwhelming! Even though married for a number of years since 1953, looking back, I have spent almost all of them being mostly on my own, whilst my Wife entertained the troops in Town, etc, each evening, night, and following day!! The marriage finally ended around 1975, and I've remained mostly on my own ever since. I heard recently that she passed away a couple of months ago, aged 89 years, (the same age as me). The glorious part of my marriage was the result of five wonderful...

AI, (Artificial Intelligence), is certainly not new to me, since the first of my Desktop personal computers in the 1990s, with their installed Microsoft Windows operating system, and connecting to the Internet via the old telephone Dial-up connection system, (re-dial again after an hour or so of use!). What soon became obvious was the use of the Internet Search Engine software provided by a number of Internet Service providers, and computer processor software, whereby a typed text into the "Search Box" would suggest a number of options for the required subject. All this was done by...

For me there was a Golden Period in the decade 2004 - 2014 kicked off by Christian's mesh and topo. Yes, although I've had enough counselling in my life to know that there's no such thing as the 'good old days', otherwise you'll forget to see the value of today, those were definitely the good old days! Full of possibilities, where everything was difficult, and anything seemed possible. I still have no idea how you actually made those videos back then. I can certainly understand why you'd want to go it alone with your project back then, we tend to have a vision, and we don't want it somehow...

GREAT STUFF AND GREAT PHOTOS showing progress of building the plane When I was kid, I built 300 planes. I am surprised to see in your photos that Revell and Airfix are still in business since I was kid in 20th century!! I never heard of the brand Sword. Is it new company founded in 21st century? Oh the price for plastic model plane kit is between 2.50 and 5 bucks for many American and foreign brands in 20th century. The price for plastic model tank is 8 bucks with motor or 6 bucks without motor for Japanese Takima brand. Wondering how much it is now Regards, Aharon Airfix have had a...

That aircraft has always been there, long as I've lived. It will be weird without them, somehow. Still can't quite get over now having a King, actually, same story.

weren't tempted to go a little higher rez wise? I'm running P3D/MSFS at QHD/1400p which just gives a little more oomph, don't think my 2060 will cope w driving a 4k monitor AFS2 and AFS4 are very smooth on moderate spec systems like mine. The GPU in the Flying Machine is an 8GB Radeon RX6500 XT, which does all I want. and stays cool. I like good visuals, but I want visible improvements, not ones I will need a computer to measure. :D

Marty...you said it: holy cow And he said it, too: You have to know when to stop... Now my next question is this: At what point do we get an in-sim airshow crowd for the Ardmore MSFS scenery???
