Had a spin in the Mig-29 this morning...so I guess I'm back. Slowly re installing my existing purchased stuff. The whole thing so far has consumed over 300Gb, and it runs well....and I'm still down 8Gb of ram, no complaints here. Replacement ram will be done this weekend.

Be afraid, it's only a small bit of what AI can do for you... Loved the guy sweeping the parquet floor, antique even in its time. Hope you managed to follow the BBC voice over, 1930's style. Ektchewally. :D

Glad you enjoyed it, Paul. I was born in Clydebank in 1949, and we lived there until 1959. I remember on my way to school, there were just big gaps in what had been 3 or 4-storey tenements, only the gable ends with wallpaper and fireplaces still to be seen. On my first vist to NZ Christchurch, it looked so familiar. It wasn't until the late 1950s and early 1960s that the Labour and Conservative Government Councils moved in, and all the ancient, Victorian building devastation and rubble were finally dismantled and removed, and the Towns finally got cleaned up, and the place looked clean and...

I guess if you had PRATT + WHITNEY writ large on the side of your 747SP, you'd want to plant it, given the audience. All my FS landings look like this ...NOT Hah, yep nicely done  just tweaked the video link in my OG post, looks like the one they posted on Sunday got a copyright strike .. musta been some background music??? <_<

Progress has been slow lately, with not a lot of clear nights. I moved the scope down onto the driveway, which helped a lot with the image sharpness, but the first time I installed the EQ wedge I just couldn't get the thing to align. Alignment depends on the mount pointing to the celestial south, so the scope points due north. Turns out I just can't get my head around the direction of North. Part of my autism makes it very difficult to translate directions from a map, and it still doesn't make sense to me that when I look straight across the valley here, I'm looking due north. But by ignoring...

All right. The hint has arrived. I'll only post things that won't embarrass anyone, especially forum owners. I've just been here too long for that... since 2007.

Sorry for the delay CP. Its actually a full on tertiary training course for trained people working in the clinical massage field. The venue is St Andrews village retirement complex (they must have a venue for hire), in Glendowie , or close by.

Same with me, SP. There is something unique about ANZAC Day. A day of remembrance for those who serve, have served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we have. Never, ever forget those who didn't come back and the number that are still listed as Missing In Action. I remember seeing one white cross outside the Auckland War Memorial...only three words on it..Known unto God. One of hundreds of thousands known unto God. Lest we forget >nzflag<
