There's a great place in Napier called Cool Toys ( ) I was in there last week, and really had to restrain myself from buying their diecast models. And the Tamiya, Revell and Airfix kits ... don't get me started  They even had a 1966 Batmobile there ... very tempting, no matter what the cost.

A wonderful bit of filming, Mike. Excellent to watch! I wish someone would film me on my Motorcycle rides!.... ....! The Auzzie accent always makes me chuckle... My typical English London Cockney accent, (A war-time 1940 refugee from London to Herefordshire), with a spot of Auzzie thrown in! "Cor Blimey, Sheila! Stone the Crows!"... ..."You could knock me down wiv a Diggery-Doo!"....LOL... ...! You can see where all the Auzzies came, from originally..... ...a bad lot...LOL...!.... :wink2: ....! Paul... ...!

It always amazes me, the intelligence of tiny creatures! Every time I observe them, they know exactly what they are doing, and anticipate the results! There is no way that we; "clever" Homo Sapiens, could design, construct, and mimic their thoughts and actions! They all need our protection! ...do we really need to step on that Snail?.... ...! Inch Worm...Time to measure the Marigolds...>>> Paul... :D ...!

Having served 22 years in the RNZAF, I also, (like most military people) have great admiration for the Queen. We take an oath to serve her, we salute her, we toast her, and her crown adorns our crests and some rank insignia. Now we mourn her loss. But a new chapter begins. Long live the King.

Well, the conference is going ahead, accommodation is booked, and the flights...just hope they don't cancel. (flights) Would be great to catch up with you chaps. Work was good with the time off, I have enough hours to cover this...still waiting to see how I go with Omaka next year. I get 13 hours per pay cycle (monthly) not sure how they came up with 13, but I reckon I'll have enough to cover a few days in February.

There is a difference and that is how you go about it, it is an INVENTION. Such glasses can already be manufactured. For other people as mentioned to Create such devices they would require the same INVENTION in order to achieve it. So new Pilots Glasses have a HELMET MOUNTED DISPLAY but on glasses, and would feature NIGHT VISION as well as zoom. With these you would see other aircraft even in White out conditions and you can see the runway or a ship that is moving even in White Out conditions. Such information can be projected holographically onto the windows. :plane:

No it is a device that connects to the Turbine and spins the Turbines while the throttle is at idle or off. It has more power than the engines max thrust so long haul would require less fuel and if the aircraft ran out of fuel it can still fly with the new device. :plane:

Reminds me of that giant space cruiser in the movie Wall-E And I would like clarification of the term 'drop off anyone on board' ?
