Ah, the Occidental has seen better days in more ways than one. I've just seen this news item on the Lone Star. Makes you thankful for a 4am quake, and not dinner time....

I'm old enough to notice that too SP. Remember when a Big Mac... was...um.. BIG? /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> I'm sure even loaves of bread are slowly getting smaller. Cadbury chocolate is getting thinner.. it's a real problem /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif />

QUOTE (Dean @ Jan 14 2011, 04:10 AM) I would encourage all our Kiwi friends to donate as much as possible to help out your fellow Aussies (google Queensland Flood Appeal). Will do mate, Wanganui has already started an appeal. We have collectors on the streets. All the best for all Queenslanders, I just hope the help arrives soon. Derek

QUOTE (madkudu @ Jan 7 2011, 10:13 PM) Just going back to your original point re. the price hike, heres an article saying that it has kinda worked, just to stir things up /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Cigarette price hike prompts quitting surge- Stuff I think it has really helped those that are addicted but really want to give up, and a price hike was a good excuse for it. As for those with no intention to give up, just have to accept thats the way its gona go unfortunately Cheers Jimmy Good points Jimmy...at the moment, Im one of...

Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone U2 - Beautiful Day (Music Video was filmed at Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris) Linkin Park - New Divide (It was the theme song for the second Transformers movie, and there were F-16's in that.) Ok, may have got a little side tracked with that one! /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />

Looks like alot of places around ChCh right now, depending on what the timber has done in the walls/roof it could be as simple as a rejib and paint. Take a couple of days to do that I think.

I am a Vodafone or Ihug user and have a 30gb cap I have found the best way to keep a check on usage is a small program Traffic Usage Checker Here A small program to check your traffic usage. Works with many ISPs: Paradise, InSPire, Telecom/Xtra, Airnet, TelstraClear, WorldNet, ihug/vodafone, Quicksilver, ACSOnline, Orcon, Maxnet, BorderNET, Slingshot, Snap, Farmside and Actrix. If it doesn't support your ISP then just ask. Download v1.81 for Windows XP/Vista/7. Doug

Nice Charl- your flash reaches the moon! /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> Popped out onto the deck several times to see if I could spot it last night but it there was too much cloud cover. Was even thinking about going down to Eastern Beach where the Astronomical Society were holding a viewing- guess they would have had a telescope or something, but it wasn't worth it. Another decent pic and story here:
