QUOTE (pilot.masman @ Dec 16 2010, 11:29 PM) lol just a few issues... i had gta iv ages ago near when it first came out. i sold it to be released from the issues. i went back a couple weeks ago and played GTA SA on PS2. my god i cant believe the graphics, there must be some difference between PS2 and the PC version. i still have the PC version somewhere ill try find it and see if the graphics are as bad on that. The two expansions are great. its basically just another two story-lines for you to complete with new stuff. Yeah def. worth it 2 games for $35 Haven't even started...

QUOTE (steelsporran @ Nov 27 2010, 01:44 PM) Yes and they can play. As a Scot I have to admit that the New York Fire Department has a very good pipe band. And Marty, encourage that young drummer. With pipes and drums at full blast - bliss. /notworthy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= notworthy.gif /> Sporran, thanks very much.......i will do just that, he's a good kid. I was lucky (or not) enough to be in the UK when the Queen mother passed away........the ceremony was amazing. Check this link Its not my clip, but i was close to where it was...

Funny really as a past Chairman of RR was asked why he always flew on 4 engined aeroplanes. His answer: "Because they haven't built a 5 engine one yet!" For a while RR was only leasing engines. The Air NZ B777-200 RR engines are leased. If one goes pop then it is up to RR to sort out. Having flown the worlds best 4 engine aircraft for the last 13 plus years I can tell you that 4 engines is way better than 2. In a 4 engine aircraft if one engine fails it is a nuisance. In a 2 engine aircraft it is an emergency.

Awesome weekend. What games too. I'm a bit tired and hungover /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> But it was worth it. Outstanding, good to see the Scot play positive rugby and throw everything at us. Very unlucky not to score a try. And for the Aussie to lose in the league let alone union. Cheers

QUOTE (Chairman @ Nov 14 2010, 10:01 AM) were there any 707-like russian airliners from the early 80's ? Nothing in the lines or design of a 707 , there counterpart the IL-62 would have suited there needs , the IL-86 would be the closes in layout but much larger . Pleased you dug the photos Gary , the Kola Peninsular crash was talked and compared to the 1983 shootdown off the 747 .

QUOTE (IslandBoy77 @ Nov 11 2010, 05:50 PM) So what do you reckon, team? Why are these new aircraft seemingly fraught with bugs? Some here have been watching aviation far longer than I - are these problems with development & design spasmodic things, inherent to the industry as a whole, or what? I know that there have been "problem" aircraft through the decades (Marauder "Widow-Maker", Comet, Westland Whirlwind are 3 that come to mind immediately) - again, could it be the info just being more readily available? I see that there is outsourcing going on with...
