QUOTE (A185F @ Jan 13 2009, 07:42 PM) Haha well I was ferrying that particular aircraft from Perth to Newman, then a few days later to Karratha from which I caugth a commercial flight to Brisbane (where the hard landing was) which was via perth, to get another compleatly different type of aircraft to ferry a much longer distance, 2 days flight, am inbetween the 2 now. I think I must get around alot. (has Metallica wherever I may roam in head now) Good for the QF Freq points though /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> Ahh well you see that...

QUOTE (Bazza @ Jan 11 2009, 12:15 PM) Big Headline in today's "STUFF".... KIRI CATCHES BAY OF PLENTY'S FIRST BLUE MARLIN.... Article goes on to say she caught it in Russell. Even though there's no airfield there all Flightsimmers know Russell is in the Bay of Islands. It's not even the first caught as stated....they have been catching them for nearly a century, both in The Bays of Plenty and Islands. Somehow it's even worse when they screw up the banner headlines.... /angry.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= angry.gif /> QUOTE...

QUOTE (Albatross @ Jan 3 2009, 01:13 PM) Keep in mind the storyline from Halo three is continuing on from where the first two games left off ;) Wish you lived down here and I would lend you them! Anyway, have fun with your new toy! The controller you'll get used to soon enough ;) You are right, of course -- I recommended Halo 3 as an example of a game which uses the controller particularly well, but that applies to all the Halo games, and if this was an area which interests you (as opposed to 'realistic' war games) then by all means play all three in order. You...

A lot of the time it is really weather dependent... listening to the ATIS for NZAA, you hear something like: Auckland Information Charlie... expect Visual Approach... Runway Zero Fife Right... when it is a nice sunny day... and something like: Auckland Information Foxtrot... expect ILS/DME Approach... Runway Two Tree Left... when it is less than ideal... If you have a look at the AIP sections for NZAA , you'll get a good idea of the different arrivals they have...

If you've got an Xbox you can download the trailer. I have, it looks pretty good for a movie, but no idea what the gameplay will be like yet. Fingers crossed it's a good one, but given the limitations of a console controller, I'm not sure if it will be much of a simulation..

Shame it distorts my Level D 767 cockpit /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> Keyword there was *almost*. QUOTE Just write 'Party Van' in permanent marker al over the Hiace and you'll be sweet! Haha, the one that had tagging all over it was our ' 89 2L turbo diesel Nissan Largo that has long since been garaged at my mates Nan's and is no where near roadworthy. We got a replacement parts Largo, but it got nicked, so instead, while I was in the UK, the boys got a new 7 seater Town Ace with a mint blue paintjob that we've had many a good time in, but just sold on trademe yesterday for the upgrade. (which we're gonna spray matt black with paint cans from the Warehouse...

Rabbits, Hares, Goats, Wallabies, Deer, Magpies. Happiness is a warm gun. Just this morning I dropped a big goat with my .243 at 320yds, neck shot. Been watching him for a week and had to get up at 4:30AM to catch him at dawn. I've got not a bad arsenal .243, .17 HMR, Shotgun and by the end of the week hopefully a 5.56 semi. Arn't chickens on the wanted pest list? /tongue.gif style=...
