I must admit I love my 360, and have no time for PS, or Sony in general. I've just never found a game on PS which I could get excited about, they seem to be more kid-orientated. At the moment buying PS3 seems like paying more for less, but that may change. But I do think that all that talk about developers getting the hang of the PS3 power is just hype -- games will remain comparable for a long time. PS3 fans still talk about the amazing hardware, most of which didn't make it into the final design:) I did get caught out with HD-DVD though. I jumped in there a bit quick, mainly because...

QUOTE (Naki @ May 2 2008, 10:39 PM) hmm just read it needs major servcing at 100000km which requires the engine to be taken out..........................there are several 2008 GTRs on Trademe Haha 100000km, Ferrari drivers are going to be so jelous! You wont see much change from $10k for the 10,000km service in your new (1995-current) Ferrari... And thats assuming it needs nothing more than an oil and filter change, fresh set of plugs and coolant. Oh and some Nigel who gets to check the cars ECU , clear any error codes and re-flash the inspection interval node. Damn...

QUOTE Does anybody know what happened to ZK-LGR?? Charl posted this pic of it from North Shoe Aerodrome Not too sure what the deal is, but at a guess, I'd say it will replaced by G-RHOP that recently arrived from the UK. More info here

Yea, Wiki can be not-so-good on topical issues; people come along and edit the article to skew it over to one point of view or-other, and can be a while before it gets picked up and put right. Still, can be a very useful resource if you take it with a pinch of salt. :) Alex

Two days on and it feels like the news still hasn’t properly set in- absoulty tragic, I just can't believe it.. My Mum teaches Year 12 at Elim, and the church is a very tight knit community so we knew pretty much everyone that lost their lives. Word is that Tom, the Taiwanese kid with cerebral palsy was found on teacher Tony's back- died trying to save his life. It was also headmaster Murry's 50th birthday on the day it happened, which I'm sure will never be the same again :( RIP to the 7 canyoning victims, and deepest sympathy to their families and friends.

Yep, pricey as all hell... but, short of purchasing either one of Stuttgart's finest (Porsche) or Maranello's highly strung horses (Ferrari) where else are you going to get that individual character along with true racing pedigree? Just as a side note, Enzo Ferrari actually drove for the Alfa works teams during the 20's and the first Ferraris were Alfas that Enzo had tweaked with in terms of power and suspension. Lamborghini made tractors for a crust originally and bought one of the first pure Ferraris. Soon he got sick of the dodgy shift mechanism in the gearbox and replaced it...

Excellent timing... 7:37 am... got his hobby sorted already then. I like the sound of Fletcher. If you can't go for something obvious, why not something slightly more obscure. Maybe name him after an aviation pioneer or someone involved in aviation now? Congratulations on the baby as well. Anthony
