Just to clarify when I say young I mean 18+ hahahahahahaha. Sorry guys have been putting in some long hours like 60+ a week and some weeks only allow for 1 or 2 days off but I have to say Sunday night was the worst after getting a beating in town no major damage just sore ribs after getting a boot to them. Will try get on a bit more but with V8's coming up I don't see much chance of that happening we are all pretty flat out and picking up extra shifts where we can just to help out. Peace out guys catch ya all up soon. "Safe Flying" SQ350

QUOTE (Alfashark @ Feb 19 2008, 06:26 PM) And HCP, theres nothin wrong with being stuck behind a 152 in the circuit... Kinda good to remind us that not so long ago, we were students grinding our way around seemingly endless circuits too :) Tell that to the guys at AR... for some reason they always seem a bit miffed when I line up and roll as they're beginning their 3 degree slope, 5 mile finals <_< seriously tho, i hate being 'stuck' behind guys flying ridiculous circuits... sometimes I'm not sure if they're just flying enormous circuits or vacating out to...

We did go to the Mount and see the Sapphire Princess depart recently. Nowhere near as fancy, and nowhere near as big (also, no fireworks). Ships like this are sooo big and stuff, and they look pretty cool, but planes > ships!! :plane: Cheers Anthony Harris

Yes, thats right. The way are computers are networked etc makes them installed on Each Computer, but only Aerospace students can access that program. Id imagine we have a very complex system with all the computers linked up, and each teacher can access them.

Yea, asking for passwords is a dead give-away usually. They can change passwords on a whim if they really needed to get in. ;) Alex

Yip well I've sent away a deposit on a $950 Suzuki SJ50, will collect it in Christchurch between the sixth and the ninth, depending on when I have free time away from the flying nationals. Edit: Got dads old motorbike gloves, once I can afford it I'll get some Kevlar jeans as well. Further edit: Talking to lots of people, it seems that scooters are no more dangerous than motorbikes. The idea is to be able to go 60kph on the flat when needed, and ride in the right wheel track of the lane. Since I'll be doing most riding in no more than 70kph areas then this'll be easily...

Say James, how much are you looking to spend? Reason I ask is I may be selling mine on trademe in the very near future, as I also need to upgrade (Im going to a 650-700W one). Im thinking its probably going to sell for around $50-70. Heres a review of it if you want Even buying one new will only set you back about $100, and it is a very very good PSU. Also, dont get a no name one. You will kick yourself when it blows up and takes everything with it.

Usually it's just from the kerbside into a driveway or something. Another one they can get you to do is to reverse 20-30m along the kerb in a straight line; a skill I have yet to try out in the 'real world'... Alex
