Re Santiago Sydney route.Yes it generally flies across Southland but does reach 70 degrees south half way between NZ and South America.Will post track next time I see it on Flight Radar 24.

Did you know the Brits were a strong contender to deliver the bomb? I had this Mark Felton clip pushed to me yesterday. To answer the question: per WikiP perhaps we are headed in the right direction. From a high of 70,300 nuclear weapons in 1986, we are down to "only" 13,890. They are dismantling all Nuclear weapons and using the Plutonium for next generation Hybrid Plutonium Powerplants and Plutonium SteamShip PowerPlants which can carry up to a million tons into space......Someone's Patents!
