Thanks all for the messages Unfortunately as you've probably all seen in the media the outcome has been the worst possible and my lovely boy is with us no longer - along with his good friend and work colleague. Two families are grieving along with a lot of other families in our country. The word devastation does not even begin to describe the feeling knowing our boy is gone. What happened and why will no doubt be bandied about in all sorts of forums - I have a theory taking shape myself. Please take it all with a grain of salt as after 40+ years I have yet to read a true and accurate media...

Thanks guys. The Op took 10 hours, but his team is happy with the result. He went home today ...just before the trouble started here....and that's bloody sad as well. Still, have a chopper circling over my area and sirens .... scary stuff.

Bugger! There is 2 things that I take from this: No matter how bad you might think things are, there is always someone more worse off, and secondly, live life to the full because you never know what tomorrow’s “lotto numbers” might be. Fate is the hunter.

That would be a sight indeed. Over here, I cringe when reading some of the articles posted on some of our local and national news feeds....grammar, spelling, and even context ....0 understanding. Another thing that seems to have evolved among our under forties ...including the prime minister, is the inability to pronounce the BLOODY LETTER "T"!! It's" matters "...NOT madders, I won't waste any breath on other examples...but there are many.

Thanks CP .... she had a sit down with her Doc today, and her bp is down to acceptable levels (for her age and condition). But...after she read your post on the "statin" drugs, she insisted on dropping them ... he agreed , and admitted that he didn't really know why they were prescribed in the first place ...

If you go and sit in the blowtorch that is the NZ or Queensland summer sun, Vit D is not what should concern most humans, especially those with a melanin deficiency. You are 100% and I believe that no one is advocating anyone doing that. What is suggested is at least getting a few minutes exposure in the summer and longer in winter. There are times of the day that it is appropriate to be covered and others where...
