It is terrible how things can pile up in a very short time, so you get to the stage where you are expecting trouble. We all need a 'breather', and I certainly hope that things settle down for you. The older we get, the more likely our friends and family are going to have health issues, these days people live a lot longer, and staying healthy long-term becomes less and less likely. And I find that the older I get, the fewer 'great' things happen, so I have to grab what I can, which is why I live vicariously through my kids. One small tip -- forget what happening in the rest of the world, at...

I've said before I'm a big fan of local content on our telly, but a little bit of 'Wellington Paranormal' goes a long way... This is a take-off of the current crop of cop ride-along reality shows, which is certainly not my thing -- never seen one, never will. You know the sort of thing, they are advertised constantly, normally with all the faces blurred out. Wellington Paranormal, on the other hand, only tends to blur genitals.... Minogue and O'Leary were the two cop characters in Taika Waititi's film 'What We Do in the Shadows', and they did such a good job they were given a TV spinoff. They...

Towards the end of WW II, Churchill was severely criticised for commandeering 3 of the newly-delivered B-24s to take himself and his cabinet to the USA for a conference. Previously they would all have gone by fast RN destroyer. His excuse? - "I didn't want to put all the baskets in one egg"

Might want to visit our local dairy then ... :wink2: What a beautiful sight! Like I used to remember in the Olden Days when our English fields were full of various Livestock.... ...Cows, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Ducks, Geese, etc...and Horses! Fields and Farmyards now left empty to rot. Almost everything is imported from abroad now. The English countryside is now lined with high hedgerows everywhere, with empty fields. Illustrated in my Youtube Motorcycle touring videos. A very sad state of affairs. Paul.... :( ....!

Moderate earthquake (9 hours ago) Sun Jul 22 2018 3:14 PM Magnitude: 5.2 Depth: 73 km 20 km east of Nelson Quite an unusual type of quake there was what sounded like a thud of a car or something running into a wooden fence then about 3 seconds later came the rumble and a couple of moderate jolts the jolts were all over in less than a couple of seconds no big shaking rocking or rolling.

I did the PADI course years ago. Diving relies on 100% situational awareness. How they are doing it there defies description. And taking off a tank so you can fit through a passageway underwater gives me the shakes. The coach... might elect to stay in his cave, and meditate as the storms roll in.

Fibre is not that fast, there are too many inhibitors slowing the data, so it is not very good at the moment. :ph43r:
