This is what devastated our Beef industry!....>>>> "The BSE crisis led to the European Union banning exports of British beef with effect from March 1996; the ban lasted for 10 years before it was finally lifted on 1 May 2006". I remember seeing in the news, every day, piles of dead Cattle, being burnt in open fields! I see the concern of NZ Border control at airports and sea-ports prohibiting the import of many foodstuff, etc, by passengers and visitors.>>> NZ is paranoid about infectious diseases being brought into the country via plants and food.! What I watch...

:D I remember a story about an Irish restaurant where the specialty of the house was 'Soup-in-a-basket'....there was a great vogue at the time for serving everything 'in-a-basket'. These days it is wooden trenchers, which have been banned here because they are naturally unhygenic. :o Hello Mike! ..by; "basket", I mean the dried Tagliatelle is/are rolled up into a tight ball and popped into the boiling water to; "unfurl"...LOL...! We can purchase the (wet) ready-cooked version, but it has a limited; "use-by" life. I prefer it dried to keep longer!... :wink2: ....!...

Apparently.... ....(or so I've been told)... ..... All this female excitement has been carrying on whilst I was steering my trusty two-wheeled steed from England into Wales during my regular Sunday meet-up with all the Biker Folk in Abergavenny! The marriage between Parry and Fagan!!.... :o ...! I did notice that all the Female Bikers/Passengers were absent from the meet-up in the 'Bus Park! ...there were more Lads there than usual. I suspect that they were all escaping from the indoor TV Pandemonium! I just hope that Ginger-top and Sambolina are very happy in their;...

When we moved from Hamilton to Christchurch last year we realised how much 'stuff' we had and ruthlessly got rid of a load. We were in a rental about 8 months and when we moved to our new home were amazed at how much more stuff we had accumulated in that short time, as well as how much 'stuff' (brought from Hamilton) we really didn't need after all since it had stayed boxed for 8 months and never used. Another clear out. We're now in probably the largest house we have had so far and whaddayaknow ... 'coners' are filling up with, yep, 'stuff'. Where does this sht come from? I make just about...

A fascinating read, Mike!.. :D ...! ..like the Pilots in South Africa, who do a similar delivery job in the remote Safari! (So-fari...So-goodie).... B-) ...! Vast, wide open places! Different from your normal 9-5 job, 5 days a week.... :wink2: ....! I suspect that about three people live in the middle of Australia!... ....! Most of my stuff arrives during my daily Motorcycle visit to Sainsbury's, or an exciting parcel from Amazon!.... ....! Paul..... :D ....!

Charl , no problem. I cant afford a Wanaka trip this year but will be at Omaka next year, and in my opinion, a better show. I wonder if the organizers of that can secure the USAF or RAAF for 2 days ... worth a shot. Imagine ...Fokker Triplanes to start, and ending with an F-16 or F-18 ...and everything in between. Re the Blue Angels clip ... it's not just precision is it .... its extreme skill, the pinnacle of flying. How do they adjust for turbulence when that close? and things like the sun in your eyes at certain points .... what if you sneeze? 120% impressed, and like you ...I've watched...

Marty you live a rich and varied life ... No flightsim should be without golgi apparatus. I never knew this before. keep it up :D I do Charl , a little too varied sometimes. Today I'm reviewing Desmosomes ...tiny little things that connect 2 cells, allowing movement under stress. Found in the skin and intestine. Then it gets exciting ... we will define (with diagrams) molecular diffusion and its relationship if any, to Osmosis , and define active transport and the role of mitochondria :( What could all this possibly have to do with becoming a sports physio? Bones and muscle I can understand...
