That actually does sound great, although I haven't eaten for a few days, after having a tooth pulled last week... I think I have most of the ingredients, so I'll give it a crack!

For through-the-window stuff, I have to use Movie mode on my digicam, because my camcorder does not let me set the focus to infinity and it locks on to the outer panel of the window. Below is a link to a movie of my departure from Blenheim back in April which I uploaded to my gurgledrive. The file is nearly 800MB and shows taxying out and takeoff for NZAA. Also a few thousand acres of grapevines to cheer Paul up :D Cheers, Em!..... :cheers: ...! I was quite surprised just how noisy it is inside the aircraft during taxiing fo take-off...turbo-props. Talking about Vineyards.... ...I'm following...

Funnily enough, when I first saw these photos I thought they were angels descending from on high. I did get a visit from a couple of women last week, who wanted to talk about angels -- I wouldn't let them in, as I wasn't sure they weren't dangerous, but now I wish I'd got the latest goss.... lol might be a sign of things to come...a large number of very good looking people here to pay NZSIS a visit. 11:11 oh no the prophesy.

I see our awareness of what's going on around the world is all to do with the magic word; "MEDIA"! In olden times our knowledge was gained through letter writing and word of mouth. Nowadays, its all gained through; "Google" and; "Wikipedia", etc, courtesy of the "Internet". It's a fantastic method of gaining information, but sometimes that information can be scary and overwhelming! This is an old thread, but the Te Reo channel is repeating this doco at the moment, and since it first appeared the two Maori channels have gone 1080p, so I'm just stunned by the sheer beauty of Aotearoa from the air in high definition. Well worth a look.

Rob , you are such a gentleman, but no need to feel sorry for them ..... they were beaten by a superior team, it's that simple . I can understand the sentiment ... but they lost.

my wife ,her sister,and her mother have been down there for the last week and come back Tuesday. They did the train over and coming back the same way on Monday and fly home from Christchurch. They've been "fossicking" on the beach for Greenstone and generally just watching the rain. Then Thursday my wife and I have a week booked in Samoa to thaw out.

Received a great email from Air New Zealand yesterday re my comments. The lady concerned will contact all the appropriate people :thumbup:
