Funnily enough, when I first saw these photos I thought they were angels descending from on high. I did get a visit from a couple of women last week, who wanted to talk about angels -- I wouldn't let them in, as I wasn't sure they weren't dangerous, but now I wish I'd got the latest goss.... lol might be a sign of things to come...a large number of very good looking people here to pay NZSIS a visit. 11:11 oh no the prophesy.

After, what was yesterday in Barcelona, it is now the turn of the government in Madrid to bring article 155 of the Spanish Constitution into action... It is no question, that the so called "referendum" was to 100 % illegal and against article 2 of the spanish constitution. Article 2 "The Constitution is based on the indissoluble unity of the Spanish nation, the common and indivisible country of all Spaniards; it recognises and guarantees the right to autonomy of the nationalities and regions of which it is composed, and the solidarity amongst them all." The irritations...

I see our awareness of what's going on around the world is all to do with the magic word; "MEDIA"! In olden times our knowledge was gained through letter writing and word of mouth. Nowadays, its all gained through; "Google" and; "Wikipedia", etc, courtesy of the "Internet". It's a fantastic method of gaining information, but sometimes that information can be scary and overwhelming! It must be well over 30 years since I last went to my local Library with my Library Card to obtain some information. which was probably already out-of-date at the time! I...

This is an old thread, but the Te Reo channel is repeating this doco at the moment, and since it first appeared the two Maori channels have gone 1080p, so I'm just stunned by the sheer beauty of Aotearoa from the air in high definition. Well worth a look.

Rob , you are such a gentleman, but no need to feel sorry for them ..... they were beaten by a superior team, it's that simple . I can understand the sentiment ... but they lost.

my wife ,her sister, and her mother have been down there for the last week and come back Tuesday. They did the train over and coming back the same way on Monday and fly home from Christchurch. They've been "fossicking" on the beach for Greenstone and generally just watching the rain. Then Thursday my wife and I have a week booked in Samoa to thaw out.

Just had some sad news yesterday of another death in the family. My youngest (43) Son's, Step-dad (Married one of my ex-wives). He was partially paralysed high up in his spine, in a crash when driving his company's heavy goods vehicle, some 40-odd years ago. The effect was to limit most of his interior and exterior workings, which gradually shut down over the years! You never recover from spinal injuries, which always reminds me to take great care when riding my motorcycle! My Mum and Dad died of "old age" at the age of 89, in 1989. They both nearly made 90 years old! I am 83 years...
