Well, finally got the Dunedin photoshoot finished, after 5 months... . Its the focal distance off the camera that makes it longer than required ... course the 230 mile sag of the camera lens over that distance dose not help , have an ant walk on the front of the lens over that distance really affects the shot required ... weight equal's sag .. sag equals photo snapshot realignment .

Tell you what... go down to Placemakers and see if you can buy the hinges and screws for less than you pay for the whole shebang, flatpacked and shipped all the way from Thailand to the Red Shed! It just amazes me they can do it. I once bought one of those, threw away most of it, and used a few of the panels because it saved me half a day's work! Charl .... i found something very similar (units) at Mitre Ten , overall only about 10% more expensive .... and 110% better quality .... bugger. Oh well , such is life.

Paul ... Naaah we are not aloud guns , you have to remember, some people are out there who 'don't give a damn' and will cause death destruction and mayhem , they really need the bullet , On my place being attacked, I phone the police asking what sort of gun could I keep inside .. there response was lock the doors and call the Police .. UM yeah right ! THAT Did not work BUT ... if your inside your on home and they are trying to get in on both sides think your not at home .... that is were you have to draw the line .... none off this Godboy Shite .. simply POP and POP ! What is it , you are not...

Its quite surprising the little things they did, designing exhaust stacks is one well known for extra thrust .. amazing series off mod and fits .. off course it would have produced extra streamlining on the way out .. after fired tho one get the drag but then its compensated by fuel usage in weight .. mainly used for the dirt airfields and muddy strips.

Marty, if shipping within the US is cheap, or even free, you could try setting up YouShop with NZ Post. We have used this occasionally and saved a bit of money

Personally I think these guys are in the know but water it in for the media, seriously best example off what is required in such a hostile terrain ... forget these thrill seeking climbers on Everest for example .. its the polar caps that are the best learning curve and it will need to be Solid. All this exploration, the moon is close enough to experiment on, plop in a few modules automated to start a dig to create a base, quit looking at the earth, learn how to survive on another planet , if one can create an infrastructure and live-able from there the moon .. lower gravity but a cheaper...

I don't have the Guts for this work, simply cannot handle the smell of offal .. strangely I was told after working with cutting fluids/oil/petrol products and the sweat off the working day, apparently I was told I smelled like a strong smell of human blood.

COOL alright .. the fear of flying thing tho .. I do know there would any armrests left after what I've seen with many passengers , the cheaper option would explore the aircraft via on board cameras as well there only tow seats there.

The geography has a huge difference between temperatures, the South Island gets the extreme hot to the crappy snowy cold blizzards were North Island in again due to the geography the climate were more temperate , I found around the Coromandel the cold winter was like a cold summer in Christchurch, generally would be equal to Hamilton, that's my biking experience. Thought the Central plateau NI even in summer that gets extremely cold , the wind blows around the Ruapehu and Tongariro National Park I've found the best road is the western side of National park also once through there from Raweti...

It's like something out of Thunderbirds or Captain Scarlet... There doesn't appear enough space for fuel given those 3 engines and Starfighter type minimalist wing. Ya Nailed it with the F-104 .... maybe Thunderbirds is the way to go with their Thunder-Flash B-)
