This edition of the Mil Mi 17 is from Romantic Wings. There are a few things I would still like to see in this model. The tail rotor in particular looks like a disk on certain aircraft stands and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the graphics driver I'm using. Some rework on the cockpit would be welcome. I like the flying characteristics.

Yes, the update, let's see what's in store for us. I'm digging around on my hard drives to make room. I'm looking forward to the ATR, which I know. 20 years ago I flew it as passenger from Berlin to Prague in order to get to Odessa from there. That's so long ago.

Thanks Marty, but: Thought I'd get away with that shot! Not here among the eagle-eyed :) I'd assumed the jetty was part of the NZQN scenery but clearly not. I will watch my step from now on... I do wonder what caused the melted look though, it's not apparent on the buildings higher up. Robin the H145 was entirely your fault, I saw it at Taieri as you may recall. And I agree the PG does a really good job from that vantage point, simply because it is so accurate. The other standout of this sim is the roads which generally do not look like a Mobius Strip pasted on a picture of the terrain. I...
