Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

I have a huge hangar full of 1:72 models here, WWII fighters. I still enjoy it and now I collect more of the exotics, prototypes and machines that are not as well known. The P-51A and the A-36 which was a derivative of the P-51A are in this category. With the Royal Air Force, you always have to be very careful with the camouflage painting when the transition from earth brown and green to ocean gray and green occurs. In the phase of transition, there were both variants in one Squadron. These machines in the picture belong to different squadrons, as can be seen from the first two letters of the...

The Scenery of Venice. I've always wanted to go there. It's not so far. COVID killed the plan. Pretty little Nieuport in its time, a deadly little canvas kite, for the enemy and sometimes also for the own pilot if a wing removed.

The thing in the float version something I really appreciate but can't see in the pictures. A paddle for "manual parking at jetties" I've only seen that with this aircraft so far and I've been with it since 1990. Float planes are like cars with no brakes and it was always difficult to moor at a jetty. Not any longer longer. Even though the plane is a lame crow that seems to be flying on gum rather than air, it's the coolest float plane in MSFS that I know of.

In the GDR we had 81 at the time. They were mainly used to tow gliders. She can tow 3 gliders at the same time. Sure, she's no beauty, but her STOL qualities speak for her. In the next few days I have to fly the float version. By the way, you can paddle them manually to the jetty.

We had a tragic accident here in September. The plane was an old Cessna 551The French German and Danish Air Force escorted the pilotless jet. Nothing could be seen in the cockpit. When the fuel ran out, the plane fell into the Baltic Sea 80 km north of Liepaja. Citation II. The pilot was very experienced and 72 years old. The plane came from Jerez de la Frontera and was supposed to land in Cologne. Shortly after takeoff, the pilot reported a drop in pressure in the cabin and did not report again. Since this plane has neither a flight recorder nor a voice recorder, the plane is 60 meters below...

Very clever title by the way  Thanks mate - I have my moments  Beautiful screens, is it their (AFS) own model, or third party? The Concorde came free with a scheduled update of AFS4. I originally bought AFS4 and the additional aircraft pack (Me109, Ju-52 etc) so it was automatically installed. I think having the additional planes pack is required to get this and future new releases. I bought them through Steam as Black Friday Sale items. ATB, Mike

Nice work. Any chance of a WWII RNZAF scheme? "Gloria Lyons" would be great :D She came from the John Smith collection and is now on display at Omaka. I am currently helping restore P-40E NZ3043 "Bess" at Omaka. She is also from the John Smith collection and will be returned to flying condition. So I have a close affinity to both these surviving RNZAF aircraft.

"The Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) was established by a royal decree on 1 November 1944, thereby merging the Army and Navy air forces. No. 331 (Norwegian) Squadron defended London from 1941 and was the highest scoring fighter squadron in South England during the war." Up until 8 May 1945, 335 persons had lost their lives while taking part in the efforts of the RNoAF. (wiki)
