In those times, 4 engines were required to cross large areas of water. Today the twin-engines are allowed. But let's not forget that the Super Constellation was called "the most beautiful tri-engine in the world." The over-engineered piston engines were not that reliable. I liked to fly the big machines, also with the jets, Boeing 707, DC 8, Convair 880/990, or the trijets like the L 1011 Tristar, the DC 10/MD 11. But they are gone. or about to be like the 747, The Airbus A 380 and the 340.

What makes such an arrow wing. It looks sleeker than the F-9F-2 "Panther". A nice workhorse, but it wasn't really a competitor to the MiG 17. Both are the same age.

Undoubtedly correct. The Minijet is well suited to quickly bridge larger distances. In Indonesia, the distances should not be underestimated. On shorter routes I use small machines like the Cub in its various varieties for sightseeing.

The thing rises well. It doesn't have the Rotax 912 but the turbocharged 914. The difference was palpable on a flight from Bolzano to Venice. A tiny motor went quite well for her over the Alps.

one of the few remaining airworthy B-17's is actually based at La Ferté: ) although she has been in storage for a while now... the odd one in the pic is the Short Stirling, as far as I know, no more (complete) Stirlings exist...

Nice Repaint and a for me new one. This one I have never seen. This version was introduced in the NVA in 1975 and was in use until the end of the GDR in 1990. As a result of the wars between the Arab nations and Israel, the machines were camouflaged rather hastily and there were two regulations, but the execution was quite an individual story. But I've never seen a version without a part from Braun. Something different.

Speed isn't everything if you like to think of flying in simulations as a way to see landscapes you'll never see in real life. I would like to trade my honda jet for this one right now.
