Nice one, Mike. I had no idea where the Paris scenery came from, but it certainly looks like yours! Noteworthy that Napoleon managed to micromanage all those buildings to a Do Not Exceed height. When you walk along the Seine in Paris, it doesn't strike you that much, but in the sim it sure jumps out at you.

I no longer read the "official announcements of court reporting, but as far as I know, official support for helicopters by Asobo is planned for November. In general, a lot is planned for November. A DC-3 should also come. Whether that still affects us in Germany, I know not yet. I'll switch off my computer from December 31st. With the electricity prices in Germany, flying in the MSFS with a computer that has a 550 watt power supply is pure luxury. It's cheaper to play golf there and it's better not to give real winter anymore.

Thanks for posting, your shots give a good impression of the "busyness" of the place! I am wondering from where they draw the ATC resources to marshal 10k aircraft movements? It's a beacon of US organisational capability. Also can't recall when and how it became a fly-in for anything with wings, experimental or no.

Dear AFS2Guru Mike: you read us right. Nothing less explicit would do. Will save much time Fiddling with Folders and Fixiing erm, Mistakes. :D

I was thinking of getting a WIN11 box, which would be configured strictly for VR. The big draw for me was AFS2's utter smooothness in VR, it is even more important than resolution. Like what was already mentioned by the developer, you need to lower your graphics settings down a notch or two compared to FS2. I found that this helped a lot with my Vive Pro. Even with my rtx3090 most Ultra settings resulted in a bit of stutter flying heli's low level in cities like Los Angeles. (My emphasis) Over my dead body. A sim that relies on a future computer's power might well be gone before that computer...
