Yeah that DX12 is a real resource hog. He is being "downtrained" from an FO on the 777 to a command on the A320. I suggested he get the FSL 320 so as to get a heads up on what to expect and to use it as a sort of procedural trainer. I used the PMDG 777 in the same manner when I moved on to it from the 767. It worked a treat. He will be pleased to know his specs will be ok. He doesn't need all the eye candy at this stage, although knowing him, he wont be able to help himself as time progresses.
