I'm on the road now. Today I completed two stages. 1. From Bangor in Maine to Deer Lake in Newfoundland. 2. From Deer Lake to Goose Bay. But now I need to get some sleep. I'm exhausted. Pictures will follow tomorrow.

True enough – even a CJ3+ has its limits, and in some weather situations it’s better to wait it out on the ground. In this case the core of the storm had already moved north, so I felt it was safe to give it a go. The last miles were still a handful though.

Ta mate! Nothing up to banner standard, but a bit more zoom might have helped.

Charl, I totally agree – glass cockpits often keep pilots busy in menus rather than actually flying. Knobs and old-school dials may not look flashy, but at least they tell you what you need without digging through three submenus. The Learjet 25, the true ancestor of the business jet, brings back that clarity and charm – not the Morane-Saulnier Paris or Lockheed Sabreliner, but the Lear really shaped the image of the business jet we all know. It’s great to see it in the sim. Next month, I’ll see if my pensioner’s budget can stretch to it… I actually flew the same Learjet 25 from Xtreme...

You don't necessarily have to be enthusiastic about the Piaggio Avanti... But in FS 2020, it has proven itself to be a useful aircraft. Above all, I find its low fuel consumption remarkable. It flies very economically in the upper 30,000-foot regions.

There's something to be said about that aircraft, as old as it may be, it can still adapted into so many roles. Tankers being one of my favorite types.

I never really warmed to the Optica. I think it's a case of "If it doesn't look right...........". A great observation platform though.
