Love that Sunderland. Still remember them flying out of Evans Bay. That Ventura looks good too. NZ4512 Assembled at Oahu and BOC with Unit 19, Whenuapai on 10 July 1943. To No.1 Squadron, Whenuapai. Ferried to Guadalcanal departing Whenuapai on 17 October 1943. With No.2 BR Squadron by February 1944. Returned to New Zealand on 20/21 May 1944. No records of disposal. I wonder if my old maths teacher flew her?

The over wing tanks weren't used that often.. only on long trips. Enabled them to deploy the aircraft to the Far East.

The Short 3-30 ist not a nice aircraft but useful... I like it to fly such aircraft more than airliners.

Nice... just by looking at that multilink undercarriage, you know this aircraft is built to Handle It. The Bronco was one of the first payware aircraft I bought, and I flew it into the most unlikely places.

Western was history before 6R became 7R. Ahhhh you are correct that I should have said 06R instead of 07R to enhance real world historic realism. Thanks for correct my oversight. But with all the hype around the Corona-Virus Hype??? In the friendliest way I take issue with this. I'm nearly 70 years old and with a heart condition - so feeling pretty vulnerable. If the NZ system gets overloaded, I will simply be left to die at home. Also - try telling people in Italy that it's all hype. Rant over! Adam.
