Actually, my 'have it all' attitude is just a front today, I'm having a mental health day, while I recompile the Chch aerials, so I have Lana Wolf playing loud on Spotify, and casting YouTube flightsim videos to the big screen. If I had any beer, I'd probably be getting a buzz on by now. Been watching the FS Dreamteam PBR-textured O'Hare video, mainly, feeling like the future had passed me by... it certainly answers the question 'does PBR really do anything worth having?'

Well, the P 47 Thunderbolt looks ugly, but she was a dangerous aircraft against. I like her more than a P-51 Mustang because she gives the Pilot more security. In The next time comes another aircraft like this from the British: The Hawker Tempest. And I am waiting for the Messerschmitt Me 262. Flying the 262 was with all its bad habits, bad manufacturing quality, idiotically to dangerous and miserably working engines... it was a revolution, more then the Gloster "Meteor" wich have the engines, but a very conservative design. Honestly. I have not looked at the pilot for the last...

BEAUTIFUL FLIGHT REPORT WITH BEAUTIFUL OPENING SCREENSHOT!!! This one ist from Qualitywings. I know, there is another version from Captain Sim. Wich one? I think it is Quality Wings as the distinctive trademark of Quality Wings 757 is gold hubs on front landing gear wheels. Regards, Aharon

I think I like it because it's a good size for me -- kind of like getting on a bus, without being herded like cattle. My best flight was Tauranga to Christchurch, after photographing NZTG. The training school there organised access etc, and I was meant to go up in a heli for some aerial shots, but the pilot was late because of the weather. So there I was waiting on the far side of the airport, with my flight home getting closer, so when the heli finally arrived he just dropped me on the tarmac beside the 1900d. The other passengers were wondering who the hell I was getting that sort of...

.................and when the tail rotor goes west? Close the throttle, to remove the torque and auto. If you're close to the ground and you've put the tail into the trees, close the throttle and cushion it onto the ground. Pilots train for this sort of emergency. The AW169 or whatever it was in England recently was a most unfortunate accident. Relatively new type, cutting edge technology. That occurrence is no different to the 737 MAX in Indo recently where it appears that the AoA sensor sent the elevator trim into full deflection... New technology, people died, the industry learns,...
