I must say I've never been a great fan of Pipers - but those pics could change my mind - especially the first one! Regardless of what the plane looks like, A2A have made a fantastic job of it: loads of stunning detail and I think it's a delight to fly. Well worth a space in my overcrowded hangar! Well done on the well-deserved win, BTW! Adam.

This morning I installed the Active Sky beta, so only missing PTA at the moment. Did my normal twice-weekly test flight around NZCH to see how it is coming together, and it seemed... not too sure what it was, but it looked lovely. This was just after installing AS, so my first 4.3 flight with real weather, and the weather was cloudy, but I didn't get the normal sunlight flashes as clouds behind me disappeared, the lighting was rock-steady. I played with settings, turning them up a bit, but lowered the locked frames to 20, as I wasn't getting any more than that in the heavy overcast --...

 Nice work you old pole cat . Thank 'ee kindly Sir! Talking of Poles ... 303 Sqdn ("Kosciuszko"), 1945: I've got the sound working properly now. Doesn't seem to stop me wanting the tweak the tailplane up by around 25% in size though - it looks so puny and out of proportion with the rest of the plane. I'd stretch the fuselage by about a foot as well, while I was at it! :ph43r: Adam.

Correct Adam. I like his work. Meanwhile I have written the review for the Carenado Saab for the german FS-Magazin. I have only minor things found to iron out. The problem is the Turboprop-engines in FSX. You can do two things. Reprogramming it like Majestic did for its DASH-8Q-400 or forget it to keep the cost lower like Carenado did... An optical problem is with the reflection on the engine-cowling from the position lights, This is not with P3D... :) Tomorrow I fly back to Riga and have one week free from flying. After this I work on the Aerosoft Douglas DC-8-50 and Freeware Photo Hawaii...
