been reading this thread and thinking it over... we are the 'NZ' flight-sim forum so I think the banner that represents us should still be 'NZ'-centric in some definable way, either by the aircraft markings, the scenery in the background or some other method essentially 'Kiwi'. Themes? Meh... I'll go with the flow on this one. I also agree with the idea of just an entry and the voting button and no other identification at all. No names no numbers. everyone will then choose based on just the aesthetics alone. my $0.02 worth anyway. Cheers.

Well, the Arrow was a testbed for delta-wing planes, and the findings were used for the Vulcan. But the TSR2 would have survived if Australia had bought it, instead of the yet-to-be-built F-111, but Holt was "all the way with LBJ" and that put the kibosh on that.

Just as well there's no more room left on my HD for another sim!!! Adam. Adam, you need a new computer, you know you do B-) Too right! We all know the situation ... a larger HD needs a new motherboard, which then needs faster RAM, but then the CPU is the bottleneck. Sort that out and you'll need a decent GPU to throw at it, and a nice new case with water-cooling for the new PSU you also need ... then my measly 1920*1200 monitor displays hi-res porridge ... Just a tiny upgrade, eh? :rolleyes: Adam.
