Talking about olden Times...and the year "2006".... Anyone remember the flight sim forum; "Simviation"... started by Pete Daly ? I jonined it in 2006, and have been a Member there ever since, popping in every day! It was the Lads in Simviation that dragged me kicking anf screaming into FSNZ in 2010, when a tour of the Australia and New Zealand Coast was organized, and took place, in Multiplayer... on line! The one thing that has always got me permanantlty attached to FSNZ is the "Chat" forum, where i can have fun with evey day! ...and dont forget the Motorcycle...

Time for some new candidates (please)! Otherwise the stand-in by yours truly gets used ... and we don't want that, do we?

Nice... there's a case for noting what you used and did in this thread, others might also contribute. You can have my copy of Rex Atmos though.

So when I see paradise islands, with top-tier infrastructure, airports, even subsidies for living there – and then I sit in my flat in rainy Brandenburg, patching up old hardware – it stings a little. It feels like we're paying for someone else’s sunshine, and we’re not even invited. I have been to Tahiti and whilst it is beautiful with a great climate, I would not call it top-tier infrastructure. For example, Papeete is by no means modern, with buildings that echo the 70's and 80's. Its relatively expensive and there appeared to be a homeless problem. We only spent two day there as part of...

They still exist, the lone wolves who give us rare and unusual aircraft that no “established add-on manufacturer” would ever produce. This is a very good example. With the Nadi 333, a flying boat reminiscent of the Republic Seabee, Manuel Noriega has created another aircraft, and I like both of them. The quality is good, and the price-performance ratio is also good, and... you don't find a jet for the price of a Hawaiian pizza every day.

I also flew the RealAir SF-260 for many years and even reviewed it for FS Magazin back in the day. The current MSFS 2020 model certainly reminds me of the RealAir version in terms of overall flight dynamics. However, what made the RealAir SF-260 truly stand out was its handling during aerobatics, which was praised again and again by the community. I will still need to test this aspect more thoroughly in the MSFS version before giving a final verdict – but so far the resemblance is definitely there. By the way, I had to check whether there ever was a dedicated civilian version of the SF-260,...

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind and try to keep showing you interesting models that might be of interest. On my ever-growing wish list at the moment are the Piaggio P. 180 Avanti, the Dassault Alpha Jet and the Ha 200 Saetta, a Spanish trainer developed by Willy Messerschmitt, the designer of the Bf 108 Taifun, the Bf 109 and the Me 262 after the war. My hangar is bursting, but what the heck.

I'm glad you like it. I also like the airplane more and more. I bought one once... and then overlooked it. It was uninstalled. This week I “rediscovered” it while I was cleaning it and I'm blown away by the lightness and maneuverability of this little jet.

Very nice JK. As Charl mentioned a while ago, I think the Captain Sim team could really expand doing more stuff like this ...really well done.
