The various governments of the day thought the British aircraft industry should build for BOAC and BEA, not the wider commercial market, because what was good for them was good enough for the rest of the wold. It wasn't. :angry:

In 1963 after my service in the RAF, I joined British United Air Ferries as a Traffic officer at Southend Airport in Essex in the UK. They were part of the British United Group, and we flew passengers from Southend to Calais, Ostend, Rotterdam, Basle, and other destinations. Aviation Traders who were also based at Southend Airport were also part of the BUA Group, and were the manufacturers of these aircraft, a conversion of the DC4, with a new nose, and a larger tail to compensate for the larger nose! they built I think 21 aircraft, as there were a number of unused DC4 available on the market...

I was going to use Ian's (first) repaint from my FS9 for the 'hump' theme the other month. It goes well in FSX, too.

This aircraft cost me nerves... The systems are complex. But in flight she looks not bad for an flying robot.

Dito. It is no question, that it has potential and at the moment it is in my eyes the only Simulation you can "out of the box" fly real VFR and not Garmin VFR.... :D

Aerofly 2 is based on photoreal scenery.

Nice screenies mate, I love the 1900 too, spend more time flying that than anything else. Are you on P3dv3 these days? I've just installed v4 and the Carenado VC doesnt seem to be usable with the installer I have, a gauge file maybe, haven't been able to source an installer from the vendor yet. Yeah shes a beaut to fly No im on v4 and the vc works fine? What does yours do?
