Thanks for looking gents. @Johnkiwi , mine too mate ...thank you. Charl , Im finding it very addictive ..... but a great source of screen shots. (even though i have spent money to advance) To be honest , the purists among us would cringe at the dynamics on offer here (WT) but that has never been , or will be my motivation .... I like the pictures :) I have however , discovered a competitive side of my personality , that i didn't know was there . I really want to shoot back when engaged in a "battle" that may result in myself being able to advance too a new type. Im not sure I would...

Yes, this is not unusual. Also many of the russian designers like Sibwings, RF Design and some of the designers from Aerosoft are not at the first place Scenery or aircraft-designers....

Adam, sorry , but you cant shoot things . You can fire the guns  but you cant shoot anything down. But give it a go , the process is a bit slow ... but if i can stick with it ... you sure can.

I'm not a fan of the 1x1 arc degree mesh. And what is the resolution limit? I think it has to be STRM which is 40m?

Thank you very much forum folk. I thought i had replied to this ... but it seems to have gone into space. So , i shall reiterate , just in case the "into space" thing is indeed correct .... odd goings on with my pc lately :ph43r: Anyway ..... I had no idea my shot would rate , being as it was from an unknown format , and in among such talent. Thank you very much .

I'm holding off until Pete releases a new FSUIPC (can't live without it). My two main gripes with P3D in general are: 1) Blobby clouds (appalling .fx algorithms) and 2) Oily black water (when looking down). PTA helps a lot with both, but doesn't (can't) totally solve them. Is P3Dv4 any better in this regard, do you think? I think FSX does skies and water better than P3D. Adam.

Wow, nice variety. Prepar3d is certainly the low-key king of sims at the moment, it's funny that tomorrow a lot of us might retire it and upgrade to v4 -- seems like v3 is still getting better.

I am back in New Zealand... only virtual sorry. But... New Zealand give us from Europe the Chance to fly many typ´s of small aircraft and have at every flight other options in weather, and the wonderful landscape. At the moment it is time for me to gibe the Northern Island and have some more visits´s.

Yeah you can one day, I just took a listen to Auckland Control on 123.900 on a radio scanner and they still refer it as Auckland Control. And BTW do you still fly for Air NZ after the 767s are gone? 123.9 is still Auckland control (as it is an area control service). Yes I still fly for Air NZ. I am now on the 777.
