with incompetent fliers being allowed to enter :( Adding to that, they were pushing the very limits of their aircraft and engines, then of course the navigation and weather would another factor.

I think with all the speculation and ideas the aeroplane nutters come and go across the forums, you have to look at the dippy's running the country, one thing I can say is, the HMNZS Canterbury and the NH-90's have proved there worth in a short time .... C-130 that is going to be probably not so hard to replace, 'hells' as I pointed out they still build them .. almost time the DC-3 takes a backseat and relax and open the door to the longest current production aircraft used world wide as a transport with it abilities..... well maybe started from 1950 , first flight 1954 .. August 23 .. thing...

Clouds , yes. But the whole thing is so well done . The main shot has depth , i can just hear the Spit at the rear of the formation  and the individual shots , show each type off just right  As i said ... well done indeed

It would be interesting to see a 'K' variant , hells the 'Hanyes' Phantom manual is based on the type , going thru the pilot note and difference between the UK types is a little different, but the external model is what we need.

Thanks for looking Dani ..... I just wish the 748 had reflection texture on the windows , the real ones (Andover's at least ) have a lot of it , very noticeable on the side windows .... but not here .

Paul, you'd love the road to Akaroa, stop off at the Hilltop for a coffee, a great day out... The days of un-autogenned photoscenery belong in the past, these days there's no reason why it can't be well populated with trees and buildings. These particular shots are of the 'first pass' which I apply to all photoscenery, laying down large areas of vegetation and buildings based on GIS data, and then I go over the whole thing and hand-place everything else. This takes a long time, I think I spent 4 months annotating Dunedin, but it is worth it in the end. I know that 'photoscenery' means flat...

A suggestion for competition entries try and resize your image to over 1200px wide that would make it much easier to do a banner from. I also suggest that if you have been using PhotoBucket that you consider using another host as PhotoBucket resizes all your images to 1024px wide and as you can see by this months banner very hard to make that image fit into the 1200px wide banner.

What I did with a compare was run this Utube watch on this PC and stop pause and compare or and run both the F/Sim PC External Then you get the inside, again sound copy and video unit can't really capture the sound being inside a tube , but if you run both flightsim and this video it has the sound changes as you start descending, go to the outside returned to the well know Dart engine sound. Maybe this would be the better Internal , were you can here the changes. And this one External , it dose depend on memory and recording device's.
