The Real is often a very blue hue, compared with the sim, as seen above too. I thought the sim clouds were better btw :) FS2004 never gave me lighting trouble, but danged if I can find the original Real vs Sim topic? I had it bookmarked but that was apparently another forum...

Thanks for the reply Charl. And i agree "Be interesting from perhaps another viewpoint to see a "real vs sim" one. Perhaps we just compensate in our minds for that light shift in the sim..."

Wow, they look great. Your nephews will have to step up their game :P they will indeed ..... Last couple of mornings its been weirdly warm and a lotta Northwester Rwy 29 incoming,s , Sure they would have been in there LPCs and directly out there.

Thanks for looking gents (again) that DC-10 is very basic , but more than adequate for my purpose , its an HJG model. The A-350 is a CAMSIM model , both of course are priced right ...NZD 0 :) Two very good looking a/c .

Very nice. Great to see some local shots. I've been looking closely at the Carenado 1900D for a wee while now, as something bigger than my single engine GA lineup but not in the tube-liner space that I don't really feel ready for. I've not bought it yet for a couple of reasons. Air NZ is retiring them soon which would eliminate the whole "this is what they fly" feeling, in which case maybe I should be looking at the ATR or Majestic options. The second reason is that I've got plenty of learning to do with the single engine stuff, and have the Turbine Duke V2 ready to go when I want a...

I have seen them out off Christchurch and seemingly using a lot off runway, they where vaunted as the worlds longest range airliner in the mid 1990s , that maybe the answer, a full load.
