Looking Great Marty, it amazing the variations of the refueler, the versions with wing refuel buddy packs to the aircraft assigned to the early jets to have one even tested with jets , by then the KC-135 was incoming ... all that from a B-29 , not to shabby.

I had a day, afternoon , was four plus hours reading about the Neptune , pulled both books, one thing pointed out about the type , WWII design again but how versatile it was, even scored and created the record for a twin engine aircraft in its weight class to fly on one engine from Barbers Point in Hawaii to Half Moon Bay , San Francisco , well over 1200 miles , It did say it was a little tuckered out , .... what they did not modify on a Neptune .... still held other records for an active combat aircraft in its class .... Go Neptune B-)

Mike  thanks for scanning and posting that , aircraft types like that, its the very reason the engineer is the busiest member on board always adjusting and twiddling, it a good show with the how the airflow is affected , when they break, the cowl flaps, 'boy your in trouble', the B-29/50/377 was one of the first high aspect ratio wings, least the Boeing design was more technical and supercritical , soon as those cowl flap were in the wrong setting its a bit like today spoilers.

Don't wanna bash Virtuacol coz they do fill a gap in the market for some titles, but come on, 2006 called and want their model back !!! That was about when the FFS Saab 340 came out for FS9 and I think that still looks better now (shame you cant run it in FSX, and can't buy it any more) Review here: (ps - thanks for sharing Terry, don't wanna detract too much from your pics :))
