Great shots. The Swift is such a nice looking bird... bit like a mini Spitfire. The "ZK" is not needed on aircraft that don't venture beyond our shores, which wouldn't happen if you were a Cessna 150 or similar

I did see a 747 get off out Christchurch years back and it was a big Faaaaaaaar Ouoooooot from the observation deck, then this time last year the week the 747 was running around .. did the same and even proved how agile they are B-) tho RotoVagas would be hard pushed to park one there. I'll have another one for ya shortly too ;)

I started using PostImage about three years ago. If I upload a 1920x1080px, and say "Do not resize" it puts it in the gallery at full size, but when you look at the thumbnails (created by PostImage) for that gallery, then click on a thumbnail, the first thing you get is an image 1290 wide, with a link below for the full-size pic. So, if I am putting up screenies, I use IrfanView to resize/resharpen to 1290 wide, and upload that. For comp entries, I resize to 1280 wide. For those pics which really need the full-screen view, I upload a 1290 wide which appears in my post as a teaser,...

Orbx users will notice the difference, Orbx tend to cover a lot of the country in forest, which isn't anywhere near the reality. However this is forestry country around Rotorua, with almost 100% coverage in some areas -- far too much for the sim to cope with, so it will thin itself out a bit. One big job putting this scenery together was to differentiate between harvested and non-harvested forest -- the aerial image has huge areas which are just completely nuked, hardly a pretty sight, but this is part of the 'real' New Zealand which I'm trying to reproduce. Note, too, that photoscenery needs...

Roelio -- I will reply to your email, once I get some time this week. The Subscription started out as a way to get locals to have access to more New Zealand scenery, even if they had committed to Orbx, who have since opted out of any further NZ development. I expected 90% of Subscribers to be from New Zealand, and I've aimed it at them, but I'm really surprised to find that only somewhere between 55 and 65% of sales have been in NZ*. I am very pleased with the overseas uptake, but quite disappointed that New Zealanders haven't been interested. I admit I do this mainly for locals, who...

Great! Always feels a bit wrong to fly something that loud over a residential area...but it's fun! Smooth as silk on the incoming .. just the launch and only last for a couple, little whiles, you get some boom box boy racers cause more rarcus than one Conkers who's gone in minutes.
