Talking about olden Times...and the year "2006".... Anyone remember the flight sim forum; "Simviation"... started by Pete Daly ? I jonined it in 2006, and have been a Member there ever since, popping in every day! It was the Lads in Simviation that dragged me kicking anf screaming into FSNZ in 2010, when a tour of the Australia and New Zealand Coast was organized, and took place, in Multiplayer... on line! The one thing that has always got me permanantlty attached to FSNZ is the "Chat" forum, where i can have fun with evey day! ...and dont forget the Motorcycle...

Time for some new candidates (please)! Otherwise the stand-in by yours truly gets used ... and we don't want that, do we?

BAE Hawk T.2/Mk 127. This was a real mission to put together. The 127 part is freeware from "Nattani" on Flightsim.to based on a model done by Rick Piper and Dave Garwood (great pedigree ) But..it needs parts of the payware IndiaFoxtEcho T.45 ,and the JustFlight T.1 ....but due to encryption issues, the market place models wont work...so a freebie ended up costing a about $100.00...but worth it for me , I love the 127 version. Great pics as usual!! Intrigued as to why the 127 needed BOTH payware models. What does the mod give you (over and above the basic payware versions)? UPDATE:...

Is the Twotter update/final version available? I recall there was a lot of chatter about the initial release, so I never did install it.

I agree 100%. It's a very classical cigar shaped airframe. It must have had building challenges as it's all compound curves. I enjoyed flying it in P3D.

My cup of Tea, Marty! I have loads of fun with all my Ultralight, Taildragger/Trike, Microlight aircraft, Auster, Taylorcraft, Aeronca, Piper, Zlin, etc with their Bush wheels, Skies, and Floats, amongst the wilds of the countryside, every day! ...presently having fun in the area around the north of Salt Lake. Utah, with flights between Brigham City (KBMC), and Logan-Cache (KLGU), over the mountains, via the river dam; Black River country ...and back again! Lots of rivers are available for my sandbar fishing and camping in Logan-Cache County! So much unregulated/unrestricted flying for small...

Nice paint and pictures JK. Good camo too, I guess they needed all they could get, given that vast greenhouse which shines like a beacon from almost any sun angle!

All great shots of a great aircraft...as much as I like the IDS/GR4 variants, I still like the looks of the F.Mk.3, I think, the ADV variant with the long needle-nose with the Foxhunter radar.

Wamena is a grass strip there? Weird. Otherwise, the terrain isn't too far off. In the pic of the Van over Wamena, under the nosewheel there should be what remains of an Indonesian Air Force Hercules that flew into the hill a long time ago. There's still a lot of the tail section there but I never managed to get a photo of it.
