Nah whoever doesn't win it will feel hard done by, and that's an unfair position for Good Work. But I think there might be an element in a Banner which somehow is more than just a screenshot. So it gives food for thought: what would that be? A story? A meaning to the hobby? A nod to some back story in NZ aviation? These thoughts come to the fore when there's been a great bottle of Cab Sav shared among Great Minds. Tomorrow will be a different story I'm sure :D

During the winter it is very wet. However we've had an unbelievably warm and sunny spring this year. I guess it depends on when you are flying or what weather data you are using. It's been very sunny and mostly blue skies all last week we're only starting to get some cloud coverage again but it is on the outs at this point. Seattle was rated as best city for summer in the US based on many factors but overall because of the mild Temps and humidity mixed with sun and out door activities. It's a PNW secret... As far as new PNW airports...I don't own any other than...

QUOTE (Kiwia1spad @ May 21 2014,11:03 PM) The doco wouldnt happen to be 'Nimrod: The Mighty Hunter" would it? i remember watching that is a kid on the ad free Sundays on TV One.. its a great history of the Comet and Nimrod. I have it somewhere on VHS That's correct, .. very same doc, ad free TV Sundays .. So so long ago , I also have it on VHS, and unit is still brand new but since Mars liked sleeping on top of it it needs to go in the shop, but you can pick up a copy at your local warehouse as mentioned above at $8 bucks. Brent, I'm not sure about weather engines since using Active Sky and REX , I would have thought they covered the arena , guessing it maybe an earlier or maybe cheaper substitute, Im not sure.

Rick Piper considered this better than his HAWK , you have this aircraft , so do I and so do many others, Now are you ready for a MP to try a little spot to spot flying with a group, least first time out just me to get the feel .. "The need for Speed"
