There's a lot to be said the basic 707 airframe. Just like the Herk it was so adaptable. That's an amazing shot. I remember during Triad 84 there was one at Harewood.

Low vis is great, but Hi vis is so much more appealing. And the Herk wears it very well indeed.

Ramp 70 NZAA screenshot looks amazing although I cannot identify the two airline planes parked at the passenger gates in background. The mountain realism is amazing in the Queenstown airport screenshots!!! Regards, Aharon

CFM-56, four of. I reckon they look so much better on the plane than the skinny old ones. In other news: The B-52 re-engine programme is underway: one for one replacement of the 8 onboard with RR F130. Less smoke, less fuel, essentially the ones used on USAF Gulfstream lookalike, the C-37. Thousands of hours on them to date, they reckon they will outlive the BUFF. MSFS has one but better to wait a little, I believe.

...but the animation is amazing. There's a bit of a discussion about that. Some say that it was produced by some other/proprietary software and not directly from the sim. Many RPG games often do this, so I don't see how it really matters for 2024.

Given the L25 flew round the world, I guess getting a couple of later Swedish samples here wasn't too big an ask! That’s a stunning plane and beautiful modelling, low and slow is the order of the day for that bird! Love to see more pics! Me too... :) The soundset is rather special. If you are using something like TrackIR you can lean out of the cockpit, and the turbulence hits you in the ear. I spend time leaning out in stages, just to hear the engine and wind noise. As to flying: what more d'you really need than speed, altitude, and direction :)

I mean, your shots above aren't half bad... Charl, you are too kind  In NZ I use the third-party mesh and photoscenery by GeoffKiwi. AFS2 elevation and image files can be used directly in AFS4, provided they are in the User>Documents>AFSn path, and not in the Steam folder where they will be overwritten when Steam loads at startup. Same for third party aircraft addons. Kristoff recently updated his aircraft, so I added a couple more along with the baby Ace. I now have 62 planes to pick from. Third-party building models can be added as Points of Interest, although the AFS2 alignment...

Thanks Splitpin! It’s a nice wee freeware plane that gets me to Greymouth and back fairly quickly ;) I love X-Plane but I really wish there were more plane developers as the MSFS pilots have. Might have to learn plane maker I guess :p

Thanks for looking Rob, it is amazing . Some of the tree heights are a bit odd, as in being super tall when viewed from some angles...but I'm loving it.

Very nice shots... atmospheric almost. That's the markings Alan Deere's Spitfiire wore when he was in charge of 54 Squadron during the Battle ofBritain... I think.
