Nah whoever doesn't win it will feel hard done by, and that's an unfair position for Good Work. But I think there might be an element in a Banner which somehow is more than just a screenshot. So it gives food for thought: what would that be? A story? A meaning to the hobby? A nod to some back story in NZ aviation? These thoughts come to the fore when there's been a great bottle of Cab Sav shared among Great Minds. Tomorrow will be a different story I'm sure :D

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Aug 2 2013,5:42 PM) Was tests done in Sep 1939 and aircraft were equipped with arrestor gear but canceled late 1940 due Hitlers lack of insight for having major surface fleet , fortunate the same idiotic desicion with the build off heavy bombers , guess had he started the war later Sea Mustangs may have come into fruition ... lucky he was an idiot . Amen to that. He was an idiot fighting Russia and Usa at the same time, who could have fought the Russians alone and won, goes for both Us and R but both at the same time.

Around Spokane ... sorry, this looks like some of Mongolia for example, and from Greece I have also another feeling. I was often enough in Greece in reality. Summer in Greece... it is far from this green. The land has noth enough water and more yellow and brown are more akurate. Think, a good idea to correct this are landclass to define the land new. Here the FSX allone has its failures. I have UT Europe and sometimes Scenerytech landclass in use. The key is the definition of the landclass... to get the correct textures and a better result.

Well, some virtual pilots think, the Twin Otter is only good for remote area´s and the 3rd world. Some examples like this tell us a differtent story. The Twotter is a good choice for every flight with up to 19 Passengers under rough conditions. She is not fast, but you can fly to the shortest runways. Another flight is from St. Maarten to SABA, with 389 m one of the shortest runways used for commercial flights.

I got like a zillion emails in my inbox today with a subject of just "Coupon" I did a shady look to see what it was turns out it was from Milviz a coupon attached for discount on the new 737 and a message to tell me that they were sorry but the last coupon sent was not activated took ages to delete them all, kinda strange I thought.

I'm sure you'll get there Charl. Like Hasegawa I prefer for the most part to fly long IFR on FS9, but I still do a lot of smaller planes too. It's just my genuine VFR GA flying is limited, and I actually fly that on FSX. Today though I've been flying the BN2 Islander around St Maarten and St Barts on FS9. Still enjoyable like the big jets. One of the reasons I've avoided the latest generation of FSX payware jets is due to how much my sim struggles with the FSX ifly. So I just prefer to fly those sorts of things on FS9 (generally speaking - the QW 757 and Level D 767 are...
