Pegasus Bridge... nice. A puzzle that, despite total air superiority, it took so long to break through Caen.

The days of the heavy metal are certainly numbered but I feel very fortunate to have seen some of it. Funnily enough, when I was first in the US in 1996, there were no DC6s or DC7s on fires but there were a bunch of DC4s still. I guess a simpler aeroplane to operate.

t's an addon. Honestly, I have no idea where it came from anymore. But I'll take a look in the Addon-Mangeger. It should be able to be found. A notice. This is a good area for helicopter flights. It's full of helicopter platforms.

In the meantime I had been out and about with these little things more often. The landing lighting thing was an operator error. The landing light was my control error. This is a three-way circuit and in the middle position the light is off.

Such an iconic aircraft. An impossibly small wing. On one of my past LA trips, I ventured out to Apollo 11 field, in the Sepulveda bason, near Van Nuys airport. There is a wonderful Model flying field there. Some of the models are very impressive.....and expensive. On this particular occasion one of the models, I watched fly, was a turbine powered F104. It was about 8ft long and painted in an impressive red livery. It wasn't very manoeuvrable (English spelling) and that small wing, along with the red livery, made it very difficult to determine its orientation in the overcast sky. If I took my...

It is, and I find it kind of daunting in a way. There is so much stuff, you won't get to the end of it. Every Sim Update comes with many GB which exist in the depths of the sim, I have no idea where. Makes it even more annoying that there are still core issues after all this many updates! I'm really hoping MSFS 2024 deals to those, so you have a solid base to explore the sim without these silly little detractions.
