QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Sep 3 2011,10:17 AM) Great shots /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> , the autopilot is very rudimentary course manual throttle control , make that 72 so much fun , I sure Jan Kees did a red tail TAA Thanks Ian. Here are a couple more, - can't stop taking pics of this bird. My REX 2 cloud set is building storm or some such so the stratus looks a bit strange in the first one, though Auckland city looks fine in the distance. Good to see you flying a real plane Kade, and you thoughtfully had Heidi along for the adventure. I'm finding the images a little on the dark side but maybe that's because it's just on sunset with the light from behind the aircraft? - still quite acceptable though (but #6 is very dark!) Have to own up that I've neglected Heidi and the Cub lately, been using the Spitfire and 767 for most of my recent flights though will be giving the Islander a run in the next couple of days...

Interesting to see the L-39 in black, it looks like it has a real sting in the tail. Good collection of screenshots there, something to look at in each one, /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> smooth landings.

Thanks guys QUOTE (scaber @ Aug 29 2011,5:23 PM) Nice screens. I hadn't ever considered and of the N.American Orbx scenery but this and some others I've seen lately are making me start to reconsider - especially after spending many hours flying over large tracts of essentially flat Aussie ground! Yeah Orbx Aussie didnt really appeal to me ...too flat. Might consider some scenery up around Cairns though QUOTE (Rotordude @ Aug 29 2011,9:23 PM) Great shots Paul, PNW would be my second favorite area after Tongass. Tongass..now that is one I haven't considered...

QUOTE (Olderndirt @ Aug 29 2011,2:02 PM) Don't forget Msrs Allen, Gates and co. - yourself as a contributor to their billions. This little game of theirs ranks right up there with Coca Cola, Lucky Strikes and Ford - "at the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming" - one beer too many /rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif /> . QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Aug 28 2011,3:38 PM) I certainly looks good , to much to do in New Zealand tho , I do look at Daves screen and keep thinking Midway Is . You're right. Whoever does their water textures needs to take a look at the real Chehalis River. I backed off on color tone and saturation to -30 and it still looks somewhat tropical.
