Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

QUOTE (Charl @ Mar 7 2011,1:38 AM) Yup very nice, see you're good and high, the sky getting quite dark. Some guy zoomed one of those over the top of a U2 at max altitude...and at one Mach number faster. Brilliant aircraft Probably earned him a 'rocket' from his boss. That poor U2, with a 10 kt stall margin, sitting up there watching a Lightning make a pass at him.

For anyone contemplating a light twin for their hangar - that MilViz C310R is a honey. No NZ paints yet but it comes with a kit plus a variety of liveries and panels - steam gauge and glass. Since I have no NZ scenery, other than some small freeware snippets, decided to try the default. Like the photoreal sceneries, it looks pretty good from altitude.

Nah, I've not had the budget these recent years so I stick with faithful old Activesky. Clouds are thanks to the freeware HDE2.0. I use low resolution clouds on the theory my gfx card can then support more clouds, rather than having to work on detailed clouds. I think it works nicely /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Cheers!

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Mar 6 2011,12:08 PM) Yip , 1966 the opening and with a Britannia , RAF Comet transport and a Vulcan . Scupper , recent post 'F86' mentioned swapping my kitset with my father with this aircraft , a model , funny to think 40 plus years later you can really have a play with them , sure back them i was not getting the engine sound correct /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> I saw your F86 post after I posted this one. Sure is fun playing with them all over again, and yes, I'm sure the sounds are more convincing...

Hi Ian, This was actually my entry for the contest over on the forum in my sig, I hardly have time to fly any more due to various things on... But everything is default in the sim apart from close on 20gb of aircraft & scenery installed (hde clouds v2 aswell)... I'm also working on a composite of this at the moment, which is proving a pain in the backside. John

QUOTE (Splitpin @ Mar 3 2011,9:45 AM) ...."flying" back in time....umm, hard to explain, but flying from one "zone" into another... The Movie ' The Final Countdown ' every one had the love for this Aircraft Carrier , CVN-68 USS Nimitz , throw that back into WWII ... a fun movie /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif />
