Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Dec 3 2010, 03:43 PM) I,m sure there is a Starlifter in the wings /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> , least work on one for X , don,t no why , i have a complete flight manual here and forget us guys so Aeroplane minded 'Templeton Primary School' put in a request to have an airframe and put in a park since during the ICE season the C141 A-B-C variants flew directly over the school heading south . I posted here , , some may recall the emergency C-141 Tail Number: 65-0249 Ian, ive thought for a long time now,...

QUOTE (Adamski @ Nov 27 2010, 01:13 AM) Doug, I was going to PM you on this, but then thought your reply might help others .... I noticed a very recently polished Argosy in my hangar and decided to see it it went any faster. For my sins, my default C-172 setup is "Cold and Dark" (I'm an inveterate button pusher!). Jumping into my Argosy, I can't see any way of starting her up. Yes, I did RTFM - it mentions a STARTER BUTTON but omits to tell you where it is - or even what it looks like. I expect it's round and red, but I've tried all them! Admitting...

Another nice screenshot, up to the usual standard. Just wondering, how many aircraft do you have in your hangar now? There must be quite a fleet there. I would get confused with so many different types, each with their own systems and quirks. What a pity that we cannot add sound to the screenshots, smooth landings.

For the price, it's OK......but as others have mentioned there are a few issues in the model, textures (slow to load and low resolution VC). My brother (ex RNZAF A4 pilot) had a blast in it too and noted the somewhat optimistic performance at sea level and full loads. But, well worth a look and I hope subsequent patches fix some of the issues.

QUOTE (Adamski @ Nov 18 2010, 10:50 PM) Sadly, I think many of the early Typhoons had engine problems (in particular, shortly after take-off) and killed too many brave pilots. My old gliding club airfield (Aston Down, in the UK) had them - and the villages in the valleys around it have these sad tales as local folklore. Great screens though, Marty! /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Thanks Adam.......your recollections are always interesting....thanks very much /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt=...
