Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

QUOTE (ShadowMystDK @ Oct 11 2010, 01:17 AM) Great shots Splitpin. The P-36 isn't what I'd call the P-40's granddad - more like it's older brother. The P-36's relationship to the P-40 is akin the the F/A-18A Hornet's relationship to the F/A-18E SuperHornet - an evolution of design. Ahhh....thanks for that....i knew they were family, but not sure about the evolution....thanks /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> (nice aircraft in its own right)

Funny you should drop in here, Chris... These are FS9 reworks of your rather fine FSX paints. Every time I email you for permission to upload them somewhere, you are having trauma surgery or worse... /ohmy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :o border= 0 alt= ohmy.gif /> EDIT: And Mr B has done another fine NZ EC120...also since he has shares in the Nemeth factory, he is able to do wonderful custom interiors...

Another quality screenshot. The frame finishes it off nicely too, good angle for the screenshot, nice framing and also the quality is good. And it is also nice to see a less common aircraft. Thanks for posting, how about a few more? Smooth landings.

QUOTE (happytraveller @ Sep 30 2010, 10:23 PM) Well if you were messing around with the lighting, then you hit the jackpot, perfect lighting on these shots. Again an inspiration for us all to try the default a/c more often, and perhaps to mess around as well!! smooth landings. Thanks very much HT /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Oct 1 2010, 03:57 PM) Thanx Jimmy , /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> , this also modified the wave and spray affect...

Fashionably late as always but you have to be in to win! /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Heading down the Kaikoura Coast to give Canterbury a good shake-up. Ooops, is that a big slip blocking the highway ahead? /harhar.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :nahnah: border= 0 alt= harhar.gif /> No probs from the air /plane.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :plane: border= 0 alt= plane.gif /> P.S. Great screens everyone, as usual a tough competition, but so hard to choose! /clapping.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid=...

Number three gets my vote, great lighting on the river and also it shows the surroundings up better. Not easy to choose though, and also not easy to get good screenshots when there is not much light. Good shots here so definitely enter one. So one vote for number three! smooth landings.

I just noticed that the FSD plane is the Avanti I, and that Wilco's is the AvantiII - which has a glass cockpit (and the bonus of a Ferrari 599). It would be neat to do a side to side fly-off with the two.
