Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

Both Boeing and Lockheed were working on SST's , one that put a hold on the aircraft was the fuel crisis and many lobbyists were against the noise , strange to think the US aircraft or some off their designs really looked like something out off THUNDERBIRDS .

QUOTE (Naki @ Aug 23 2010, 11:44 AM) I was lucky to catch the A42 Beriev at the Auckland Air Show n the 90s ...misssed the landing on the harbour. Pretty impressive ..but I remember it had pretty bald tyres..I guess they weren't needed too much /rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif /> I was up on Bastion point when it landed, taxied around and took off,..amazing sight and sound. Quite unusual hearing big jet engines spooling up in the middle of the Waitamata Harbour !. Id love an Albatros for FSX /drool.gif style=...

Great shot there - co-incidentally I had a little fly with EML last week. Bloody good model, too. It is indeed....nothing like home grown. Cant wait for the Cresco /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Thanks for looking Charl....
