Well Mav , no.2 Hanger went down the other week ... loosing observation deck .. injustice , ... it was writen , Christchurch people are drawn to the airport ... it was'nt a playground but to what the types of flights , this time of the year , aviation nutter dream , but its like every thing they do in this country , this is historic ... sell it or give it away to a bunch off money hungry knobs .. I grew up around this airport and Wigram , ... well you have read my views on that , ............ I'm not religous , what the hell do we need a bloody Church in the city center ,no point ,...

I remember landing a 737 there way back in FS2002 when I set off for a flight without realising just how short the runway there is! I think since then the only other time I've flown there was with a 172, so not quite the same challenge!

You could, but that would be comparing apples and oranges. The LD763 and the 737-600/-700 are currently available for FS9 (same as the airbus) at around $40 (same as the airbus). The NGX is still a distant speck on the horizon, will be released for FXS before FS9, and sure as heck won't be a $40 plane. Cheers Gary

I have a feeling Ian I've seen the C5 pass overhead a few days ago, but I could be wrong, hard to tell with the C17 looking so similar from underneath (at a distance) - unfortunately MRC aviation blog hasn't been updated in a while.
