Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

QUOTE (deeknow @ Sep 2 2009, 09:05 AM) Great pic Bug, whats the effect you've used there? BTW, you from Liege huh? I've been flying some online VATSIM flights in TNT A300s out of Liege lately, over to London Stanstead and back mostly. There's something I just really like about the paint-scheme on the TNT aircraft... oh... and I like Belgian beer /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Thank you, I work in Liège airport as the "marshalling" manager ! Then I spend a lot of nights on the EBLG apron placing 40-50 planes...

Very Good point, im looking up the info to due a sim flight of the 79 incident. Yes we do have the tech now a days to recreate and see what went on and what might have been going thru the minds leading to the final seconds. Its one reason why i like Fs, to recreate a historical event or incident mystery. I was thinkin from the ground safety wise, now the air part in the South im just learning and reading into. South is more dangerous then the North for sure.

That paint is special to me. When it was brought over for preview at the SOH, I barked loud and clear for a USCG paint for the AS Dolphin. Be it not the right varient, but the USCG paint will help carry any Dolphin in payware as the most recognized and the USCG being the Dolphins Flagship in RL. If im correct I thnk the USCG operates the largest Dolphin Fleet in the world with about 105 helo's estimate. Although Id love to see a few Seasprites and Nh-90's fight it out for HITRON operations.

Yes Barbers Point ( John Rogers ) is now left to the Coasties. In the sixties, I flew on WV-2's out of there. The base was home to several VP and VR squadrons at that time. If you notice the large hanger out past the fuel farm, that was AEW's hangar. Aewbarronpac was the largest squadron in the Navy at that time with over 4000 personnel. Based at Barber's Point and Midway Island. The aircraft in the pictures above was one of our aircraft, checkpool 16, which crashed on landing at Midway Island.

QUOTE (Goose @ Aug 16 2009, 12:08 PM) any word on the baby airbus? for fsx? I use FS9 here - the A319 I use is the Project Airbus version - am not sure if it's FSX compatible. Anyway, I'll get the files to Adamski this week who has kindly agreed to host them. CLF

They are great screens , the sound file you want would be this one from flightsim.com FS2004 (ACOF) - FS2004 Sound FS2004 Curtiss-Wright R-3350 Sound Pack Name: r-3350.zip Size: 24,315,782 Date: 05-10-2008 FS2004 Curtiss-Wright R-3350 Four-Engine Sound Set. A Curtiss-Wright R-3350 four-engine soundset suitable for Super Constellation and DC-7 models. As for runway , this is one of the first passenger aircraft using propeller pitch...

i run it in windowed mode as i get the same performance, but i can use the other programs (weather etc) with out issue, i have tried another screen, but in full screen mode you lose the use love the I7, it seems to be alot smoother than the old AMD 9850, and seems to handle alot of information well. a little tuning with the cfg and i am getting a good steady 20-30 fps with those last shots even on approach
