You've probably never got up at 0430 for work then gone out for dinner that evening then come home and fired up FS and gone flying 22 hours after you got up either /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Try it, it's very exciting trying to work out where you are and what's happening when you wake up. Although in my case I was 200 feet away from ploughing a trench along a taxiway at 250 knots with Betty screaming at me that I was about to kill us both, it was a bit of a giveaway /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0...

Yeah those mountain ranges look amazing ingame (first shot shows the difference between standard FSX and Rob's version perfectly)

See what I can do /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> That was only the second time I've flown it - did the London to Zurich tutorial then banged out a quick n dirty checklist based on that, and flew my old favourite NZCH - NZAA. I'd have more screenies from that flight but I spent most of it playing with the FMC trying to make the plane do things, or not do things, or undo whatever I'd just messed up /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> The automation that Douglas built into this plane makes the...

Another nice feeware aircraft - once again no NZ connection but one was suppose to be imported a few years back but I dont think it ever arrived here. Pat Donovan had one at Omaka. He brought it out from the USA when he shifted to Blenheim, it was rebuilt here and only flew a couple of times. He had problems with the CAA trying to get it registered here so he packed it into a container and shipped it off. I think it went to England.

Well I was going to give to voting untill 8.30 to see whether Hinch or Naki had the most votes- but it's been a tie all day long. What a coincidence that both the shots features Spitfires too- as others have said this month, it was real hard to pick a favourite. However, I've messaged Paul, and seeing as he's been a previous winner of the monthly screeny comp here before, he's been pretty decent and allowed Hinch to take home the Orbx prize, whilst his shot will be cropped into the banner for the rest of April. Well done to both of ya /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle...

QUOTE (Naki @ Apr 4 2009, 10:37 PM) Barry/Ian...I have another great freeware a/c for you -I will get some pics up in a day or two..... Look forward to the Paul. Further flights in the Nord and I came to the impression that it was far too sensitive in the controls. I have adjusted the Elevator and Aileron effects in the Aircraft CFG down to 0.5 and this seems to have improved things.

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Apr 4 2009, 01:51 AM) Gidday Trev , I have the ATR , its origin was FS9 and patched for FSX , i'll install and see if i have the same problem , might help and find the problem Thanks Ian, I sorted the problem out. I was using the FS2004 version of Text a matic instead of the FSX version. everything works nicely now. The ATR is an interesting aircraft to fly. Just waiting for PDMG to release their Jetstream. If its as good as their MD-11 I'll be buying soon after its released. Trev

QUOTE (ronindanbo @ Apr 1 2009, 08:22 PM) model is totally complete (has been for sometime) VC isnt done and as usual we dont have a gauge designer so we will probably be looking at a freeware panel. FDE is curently in BETA... That would bee good to see the model released some one is bound to be a gauge designer you will get on one day so always possibility for update. After your other models i can imagine the exterior of the mode to be orsum! /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> /New_Zealand_etc.gif style=...

QUOTE (Daniel @ Mar 23 2009, 03:53 PM) Nice shots there /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Its a shame about Rotorua losing its sole jet service. Also what model and paint are you using? 50North model, there is a paint on AVSIM - I can't rememebr the author sorry. Have merged it with the Wilco panel, sounds etc. Thanks guys!

No problems and it looks great! I might wait until the FS9 Arrow comes out (yes they are making one!)
