Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

Thanks to all who entered, watch out for the voting thread shortly. The February Screenshot Competition will be delayed by a couple of days while Trolly gets back 'in the office'. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Alex

QUOTE (Peppermint @ Jan 31 2009, 03:11 PM) That's one green looking NZAA! Last time I was up there is was brown as. Nice shots, it's not often there's a topic devoted to AI only aircraft. I installed FScene4X not long ago as I was fed up with the brown textures. It's made the whole country look better, although I think it may have stuffed up a few default textures.

QUOTE (Charl @ Dec 21 2008, 04:34 PM) Well Robin's finally come out of the closet... I said it at the time: that scenery is too good for a flight sim, should be a walk sim. Or a Christmas Card. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> I came across another one - I know, I said just the one, I am using Threadstarter's Prerogative here. Why? It's all freeware (OK HTAI Cessnas are $15, but come on...) Robin Corn's fabulous FS9 NZPP (BETTER than FSX because of the extra hi-res detail) The Wozzastang with photoreal livery by...

QUOTE (dbcunnz @ Jan 14 2009, 03:40 PM) I tried to edit one of the pics Mareba looking North it has the right URL in there now but for some reason I seem to have lost all my pics from from photobucket any suggestions what I have done wrong and how to get the pics back I finally found the problem I had somehow blocked photobucket.com in my Firefox settings. I hadn't lost my pics I had just blocked them from being viewed in my Firefox so problem now fixed /clapping.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= clapping.gif />

QUOTE (BigBird @ Jan 10 2009, 11:39 AM) The PMDG 1900D is a nice model. Nice pics BigBird. Its such a cool short route to fly, I seem to do that more than any other in NZ. You might like this stills/audio mashup on YouTube which I did of a flight in the opposite direction in the PMDG 1900

Well guys, it was actually pretty close there in the end but Frank pulled it over Nick, just. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> I've had a chat to both Frank and Nick, and we've agreed to put Nick's (as Nick was the runner-up) shot on the banner, as Frank doesn't have a full-size version on his computer. So cheers guys. /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> That marks the end of my running the screenshot competitions, I'm handing back over to Trolly now. Thanks guys....

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Jan 3 2009, 08:20 PM) In recent shows (couple of years back ), the RNZAF displayed a formation of three .. the 757 leading with the C130 and P3 flanking , a unique formation . I couldn't help but think back to the Whenuapai show in March '07. It's an excuse for me to post some 'pictorial proof'. /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Alex

QUOTE (Cbris @ Jan 5 2009, 12:04 AM) Maybe it is just a feeling... mmmm , wondered how long someone would point that out , i have the program , its the real feel i was looking for .. think come to the conclusion both the REX and FEX are the same , and the earlier ActiveSkyX , close to compare for a lower end system , people could not understand why i stood out looking up at a thunder storm we had 48 hours back .. its the clouds , one moving west another east and caught in it is a puffy at 1300 atl getting sucked up into the center , that,s sky watching ..look and see ..it can amaze...

QUOTE (Ex ANZ Eng @ Jan 3 2009, 07:05 PM) Low and slow, ramp down, Picton. I love the angle of this one. Such a *graceful* aircraft. Everything about it seems "just right" though I've no idea why!
