Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

Very nice Andy! Nice to see you playing around in an aeroplane with the third wheel in the right place /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> That scenery looks like the AlphaSim Ju87D would be right at home! And Ian - I hope like mad Panavia sees his way to doing some paints for the freeware model.....BoB yellow noses, mid-war splinter camo......*drools*

QUOTE It's a -200.. Whoops! I couldn't quite make out the type number in pics 1 and 3 so I wiki'ed 747-400 and it came up with Lufthansa as a primary user. I think I need to study airliner.net pics more often /icon_redface.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :whoops: border= 0 alt= icon_redface.gif />

QUOTE (Charl @ Nov 1 2008, 09:10 AM) Great to see you are still keeping the Mirages up to date, Frank. Cyril's Rafale was a FS2k2 model as I recall, and is still brilliant. Be good to have an avionics upgrade SMDK - big job if you pull it off - any progress? No progress from me. I've been working very closely with Mark Harper (formerly at Alphasim but now at Skysim) on the upcoming Mirage III/5 package. If you haven't seen or heard about it visit my website. It's awesome. /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif />

I believe that it is photoreal only, as the manual states, "AUTOGEN does not work with this scenery. Placing objects at random would not be very realistic in a scenery that in itself is “as real as it gets". This highly detailed scenery which covers the whole of Switzerland was based on 30'000 aerial photos with a resolution of 4.8 m/Pixel that were taken between 1995 and 1996. The terrain model with a resolution of 20 meters makes sure that every small hill is now visible. The vertical accuracy in the lowlands is around 3-5m and 7-10m in the mountainous regions and the mesh...

The various graphic programs show different things in the...

QUOTE That is a good movie.. I'm going to go completely off topic here- how frikking funny was this scene: IMO, Russell Brand is the best comedian in the world right now, although in Forgetting Sarah Mashell, he wasn't that funny (it was the yanks doing the British accent that cracked me up). Not everyone will like his style, it's very eccentric and 'mighty-boosh-eske', however his Dogs With Dogs standup sketch on youtube is definitely worth a watch!
